Have had dinner there a few times. The soup noodles are good and you can have an ice for
dessert following.
I ordered their beef shank dry noodle with oil noodle! There’s plenty of street parking on a weekday afternoon. The food itself was ok, the beef was very tender and overall this meal was very filling!
We ordered Fried chicken leg rice and fried boneless chicken thigh rice at 5:23pm. We went to buy macu and came back around 6:20pm...and they said the fried chicken leg is not ready yet need another 3-5mins... but it was already almost an hour after we placed our order.. I'm not sure if they gave my fried chicken leg to another order or not but it doesn't make sense that I came back after an hour and my order was still not ready to pick... I was expecting my order will not be fresh anymore but not expecting its not ready...

YUM! The beef noodle soup was sooo good. Also the popcorn chicken. For dessert I had the shaved ice and it was delicious. Definitiely coming back.

Food is mid and the chicken was quite bland.
The service is disappointing as they had an attitude and acted very entitled. Especially the older looking woman.
Sad to say I will not be returning after this time.

My first choice when I miss Taiwanese food.
The bento’s three daily side dishes are varied and different each time I come.
The boba is also delicious.
I will definitely come to this restaurant again.

I really enjoyed the the experience! The service was wonderful and the food was great. I'm quite satisfied with the portions, and I shared with my family of three. I'd come back the next time I'm in the area.

First time visiting Pearl House with friends. We ordered the Clear Broth Beef Noodle Soup,Chicken Thigh Rice and Pork chop Rice— all were delicious and authentic. Service was great, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!

My family have this monthly tradition to go have Pearl House for dinner and as always we had a wonderful experience. The food is constantly great and the portions are generous. And the staff are always warm and attentive. Most of the time, the restaurant is always bustling with customers, we like to go the restaurants that are busy with a great atmosphere.
Must try recommendations are
-Fried Taiwanese style Chicken Nuggets
-The Beef Noodle is to die for
-Sausage fried rice
-All the small Taiwanese side dishes

Worst dining experience ever. The cashier, likely named Tracy, was shockingly rude, dismissive, and outright hostile. The VIP card rules were vague and seemed to change on the spot — she even forced us to process a full refund and repay just to cover an extra $2. This place nickel-and-dimes customers for everything, obsessing over cents instead of caring about customer satisfaction. Absolutely never coming back.I’m

I really like it when Taiwanese places have the set meal that is not extra costs. I got the deep fried tentacles set meal (called bento here). It came with way too much rice. Almost feels like 2 bowls of rice. There was plenty of side dishes which is good. I picked the one that is supposed to have pork sauce on the rice but there is so so little. For $19, the amount of squid tentacles was less than I thought.
We got the deep fried chicken nugget appetizer for $13. It was also small. Fried well and light on flavor. I really enjoyed that they didnt skimp on the fried basil.
My husband got the beef shank dry noodles. He said it was ok.

The place looks nondescript from outside. We were lucky to secure one of the parking spots at the lane behind it. There are no reservations here and you list yourself on a sheet by the entrance . The place is packed with diners. They have menus you can check while waiting by the tiny entrance area. Spouse ordered the deep fried chicken fried rice whilst I had the marinated pork on rice. Service was speedy and efficient. Spouse loved his order whilst I found mine to be too oily. All in all a good place to have a meal .

A refreshingly straightforward establishment where the lu rou fan tastes like someone’s mother still insists on slow braising because shortcuts are for quitters. The seasoning strikes that familiar balance of soy, sugar, and rendered fat that clings lovingly to each grain of rice.
Interior is clean and bright, with zero ambition to be fashionable. Tables, chairs, lighting — all functional, all exactly as they should be. One suspects the owner prioritises reliable air conditioning over wall art, which, frankly, earns respect.
Service is gentle, unpolished, and genuine. No theatrics, no overtrained grins. They simply bring you what you asked for, hot and fast, as though they’ve known you since childhood but never felt the need to make a big deal about it.
It doesn’t try to impress. It just feels like Taiwan, and that, really, is enough.
