“Visited Bahar after seeing a friend post on IG about their drink that came with a little coconut pistachio treat. They said it smelled so good in there, had a warm atmosphere, and that the owner was lovely.

THE HYPE IS REAL! Ali at the counter was so cheerful, helped me find some dairy-free treats, and even introduced me to the owner. They said they might eventually have more options. All the pastries looked and smelled amazing, I was incredibly jealous and also grateful.

Loved the lil macaroon that came with my matcha latte (they have dairy-free milk options), and the almond cookie was so soft and chewy (but strong!), great for dipping into an unsweetened drink.

It’s a small/tight space but they do so much there and it’s amazing to see. Definitely will come back when in the area!

“I have not had much experience with Persian Cuisine and I’m glad to have tried Khaghan as their delicious rice, tender meat and delicious appetizer definitely won me over. The amount of food is also incredibly filling.

“We got Vaziry and Shandiz Shishlik Lambshanks with house Doogh drink. Everything was mind blowing. The environment and interior design were lovely, the staff were friendly and super helpful. The quantity of the portions were great, 2 meals were enough for 3 people.

Very reasonable prices for the food quality and quality. Highly recommended and will definitely comeback!!

“Outstanding food! We popped in here with a bit of hesitation because of the promotion signage out front. It was Green bean and lamb and draft beer 2 for 1. Each day there is a different 241 dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, with a two level open concept room with sky lights and lots of windows. Chairs and tables are comfy and there was a nice light jazz playing. We ordered the 2 for one dish of the night and it actually came with 2 for 1 draft beer!
I was surprised when we got a lovely little bowl of the most aromatic mushroom soup as a starter. Our beers arrived next, followed up by the main, which was an exquisite combination of flavours and textures. The napkins were high quality disposable and there were candles on each table. Service was really great and both servers had fantastic sense of humours!
Highly recommend this place and will be back to try other dishes.“

“I heard they changed the management, so we decided to visit on Sunday. There was live music, and we ordered Gourmet Sabzi, Tadik, Koobideh, and yoghurt shallot. The food was decent not extraordinary but good enough. The overall experience was nice. The service was a bit slow because of a large table, but everything was clean and organized.“

“Good place for del and jiggar which is sheep heart and liver, grilled over an open flame. It is a Persian specialty. Sure not everyone likes it. You basically just take it off a hot skewer with pita bread and scarf it down. A little salty and savoury. Perhaps too much so, especially if you are not used to it. I really like it. Good for girls when they are on their periods.“

“Amazing Persian restaurant! Huge portions and authentic flavors. The Soltani kabob was the best koobideh and barg I’ve had in Canada. Chicken kabob was super tender and flavorful. Loved the mirza ghasemi with smoked eggplant and barbari bread. Staff were super nice and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“I don’t normally enjoy kebabs because I find the meats to be dry and unflavorful. That being said, this was the best kebab rice dish I’ve had so far and would definitely come back again. The chicken and beef kebab were tender and juicy and paired very nicely with the tzatziki sauce. The salad dressing was very enjoyable as well and the rice was aromatic. Good amount of seating available and very kid friendly. By noon there is a long line up so be prepared to wait.“

“Went to Haida Sandwich in North Van to try out their Haida hot, Haida Special and Turkey breast sandwich. All of them were delicious especially the cold cut sandwiches. Way bigger than Subway and comes with mini fries. This place is always busy, restaurant is clean. The only thing I didn't like is the airport style receipt checks they do on you. 😂“
