The steak was great The vegetable biryani Was seriously lacking in vegetables %99.9 rice and was considered a Main very disappointing as the person who ordered it is vegetarian
Food was good and innovative, spicier than expected for a fusion restaurant but very fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately they had one server for the entire restaurant but even when isn't a big place it seemed like lot of work for just one person, a minor thing but our waters never got refilled in 1.5h we spent there (understandable but not ideal)
The food was imaginative and delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back.
The food and service was excellent . We particularly enjoyed the lentil starter and the duck biryani with the Dal. Cocktails were also interesting. It was a tiny bit louder than we would have liked, but we're on the old side so younger folks probably wouldn't mind. Only real complaint is the price which really adds up, particularly when we only ordered one meat dish. Our server suggested two to three dishes each, which would have been too much. But even at our reduced amount the bill was steep. I'd go back , but maybe for happy hour instead of a full meal.
I really enjoyed fig and goat cheese samosa. The fusion of Indian and French is great idea. It gives the food a different kick and favouring. It was enjoyable,
We found Peya an interesting fusion of great food traditions. Definitely the ambience and service checked all the boxes. The food presentation was artful and intriguing. Everything was tasty but for two people we didn't order quite enough to fully satisfy us. Like many Indian or French restaurants the portion sizes are small. As this was our first visit Peya we'd recommend it but a set taster offering would have been a great option, allowing to more fully savour what Peya has to offer.
This was my first visit to Peya, and the experience was exceptional. The elk tartare and oysters were outstanding, showcasing freshness and thoughtful preparation. The cocktails complemented the menu beautifully. The mussels in tomato rasam were particularly memorable, offering a unique and well-balanced depth of flavor. The dal served with missi roti was excellent and stood out as a highlight of the meal. Desserts were refined and well crafted, rounding out the dining experience perfectly. Overall, Peya delivers a cohesive and impressive culinary experience. I look forward to returning.
The food was delicious and interesting. It was very unique compared with other restaurants in Vancouver. Todd was an excellent server. We found the prices a bit on the high side, particularly for the entrees, but overall would recommend.
Great personalized service, went for an anniversary and had a very nice meal for a good price
We were a group of six for dinner. They were so accommodating. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, and if she didn’t know the answer, she would go find out. She apologize for being New. We had one guest who had coeliac disease, so was extremely sensitive to gluten, and they went out of their way to make sure we were OK. I found the quality of food and the flavours to be outstanding. The Naan was thin, fluffy and extremely delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful meal of mostly small plates that were of a good size / portions to share. Lovely blend of flavours showcasing the creativity of the chefs. Will definitely go again.
Food was amazing. Dahl, a usually humble dish, was my favourite. Would definitely come back.

This is our second visit and we tried new dishes this time. Generally, it was very good. But, there were a couple of dishes I would not order again. The elk tartare was ridiculously over seasoned with way too much onion overpowering the beautiful gamey meat. And the rabbit biryani was dry and kind of tasteless. Maybe because my taste buds were numb from the onion previously eaten. The rest of the dishes were fantastic including the Dahl and especially the samosas. Service, as previous, was excellent.
Peya was amazing! The bar and booths are gorgeous, and I loved the lighting and overall vibe. Service was top notch. Everyone was so friendly, warm, and attentive. My water glass was never empty and the food came out super quick. Everything tasted great, but my faves were the duck kulcha, rabbit biryani (definitely get the dal to go with it), and the fig and goat samosas. Keep the sauces so you can order some garlic naan to dip - trust me. I’m already thinking about going back; my taste buds are tingling just writing this. The drinks were delicious and so fun to look at, and I loved how the room was filled with the scent of spices and smoke. 10/10!
