Food was good and innovative, spicier than expected for a fusion restaurant but very fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately they had one server for the entire restaurant but even when isn't a big place it seemed like lot of work for just one person, a minor thing but our waters never got refilled in 1.5h we spent there (understandable but not ideal)
The food and service was excellent . We particularly enjoyed the lentil starter and the duck biryani with the Dal. Cocktails were also interesting. It was a tiny bit louder than we would have liked, but we're on the old side so younger folks probably wouldn't mind. Only real complaint is the price which really adds up, particularly when we only ordered one meat dish. Our server suggested two to three dishes each, which would have been too much. We found Peya an interesting fusion of great food traditions. Definitely the ambience and service checked all the boxes. The food presentation was artful and intriguing. Everything was tasty but for two people we didn't order quite enough to fully satisfy us. Like many Indian or French restaurants the portion sizes are small. As this was our first visit Peya we'd recommend it but a set taster offering would have been a great option, allowing to more fully savour what...
