I’m so surprised at how delicious this restaurant is! It was my first visit, and my friend said it’s her favorite spot in town. The rare beef (Marinated Butter Beef) was incredible! The dry two kinds noodles, spicy basil clams and the butter chicken wings were amazing too! I’ll definitely come back next time!

First time trying cambodian cuisine. All very tasty but the highlight of the meal was the delicious chicken wings.

Came for lunch on a Saturday. If you get in line right before opening at 11am, you can get a spot for the first seating. We got the usual chicken wings, butter beef, beef luclac and the oyster pancake. Everything was as per usual, tasted not bad. Butter beef balance was a bit off during this visit. Chicken wings are just as addicting. The beef luclac wasn't my favourite as it lacked a bit of flavour. The oyster pancake was crispy and had quite a bit of oyster.
Service - fast and efficient.
Atmosphere - popping but could still hear each other well

Ordered a no. 1 which is their signature noodle soup. The taste was honestly really good. I enjoyed it. However, the older lady that looks like the owner was very rude. No smile, very cold. The interaction felt very transactional. Or maybe it has something to do with me being Asian because I noticed she was all smiling and saying “thank you! Bye bye” with white customers. The total opposite of what I got.

OK, so I’ve had now two horrible experiences here. The first time was a takeout order for my boyfriend who flew in from Philadelphia and has never tried this place before we had received someone else order so it completely wrong order. I wasn’t even aware of this as we drove off because we were just handed a bag til the drive home I received a phone call from them and was told that we were owed a refund of around $20+ difference. It was the same day of his flight so we weren’t able to make it back and I had just never put much thought into coming out of my way for $20 today on the other hand I came back to dine in at around 4pm and was told that the wait would be about an hour/hr and a half so we went to the oyster bar around the corner for a lil over an hour came back to see how much longer it would be as we never got a text that the table was ready she didn’t ask for my number just a name like my name is really common?? but she was scrolling through her list and said that it would be another hour or two for us. How does that even make any sense anyways they supposedly close at nine and by the end of the night we had never received a text at all that our table was ready

I should talk about the chicken wings. They are deep fried and delicious. They have a durian and creme dessert that takes some getting used to but is quite tasty once you get over the smell. They do a vietnamese coffee and a Thai tea (condensed milk) that are great sweet drinks. If you are ordering the Lotus Chicken call in advance because they make it from scratch and it takes a lot to cook. Parking is street (paid) or a parking lot (paid) down the street. There is often a wait if you haven't made a reservation. They can take groups of ten or so at one table, more than that and you will get spread out.

Food: Marinated raw beef was so yummy. If you like tataki or raw meat in general, this dish has a sour sweet tasting beef, balanced by the freshness of the cilantro. I didn't love the hu tieu dyy 2 noodles. The noodles tasted plasticky and gummy and the sauce was weirdly imbalanced. People recommend the Bo luc lac for next time.

The Beef!?!?! SOOO GOOD!!! We were so surprised in a good way. We were going to order something else, but we ended up getting the beef and it was a great switch. We ordered the fried chicken which was super delicious with the sauce. We also ordered luclak, which is also really good. But the Beef, was the BEST. And make sure to get the Vietnamese coffee, they make it the right way 👍👍👍.

Maybe I went in with really high expectations because this place is so hyped. We ordered the fried rice, dry egg noodle, and chicken wings.
The dry egg noodle was meaty and came with soup — the pork bone soup was actually really good and probably the highlight of the meal. However, the dry egg noodles themselves tasted a bit bitter and lacked flavor. The fried rice was pretty bland; it definitely needed salt or more seasoning. The chicken wings were okay, but nothing outstanding.
That said, the price point is good and the service was great, which I appreciated. Overall, not bad, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. But I would come back to try other dishes !
Always great food and service! We always get the four must haves and this time we tried the spareribs. Delicious and flavourful!
