I’ve never left a bad review before but today is different. I was walking along Hastings & my 7-year-old daughter needed to use the washroom. I saw the sign that said “washroom for customers only” & told the lady I’d buy a drink so she could use it. She said “no, that price is too little, you need to spend more.” I thought that was odd but agreed to buy 2.
When we came out, she told me “it’s the rules, you have to spend at least $10, that’s what the owner says.” I said it was a strange rule, especially for children. I told her I’d leave a review so others know about this rule as there is no signs anywhere saying that & she started raising her voice, saying god would punish me for that. I asked if the owner was there to make a complaint about how she was speaking to me in front of my child. She kept saying she wasn’t the owner & refused to give her name, yelling even more.
After I took her photo to post so the owner knows who I’m talking about, she shouted to her other customers that she would sue me. I left after getting my receipt, but as we walked out she continued yelling. I can’t believe anyone would treat customers like that, especially in front of a child. If she truly isn’t the owner, I hope the owner sees this & considers retraining her on customer service.

I like the owner, she was friendly and nice. But I dont like the food. I had chicken, porkchop and rice, its was small portion and I paid $21 for it with tax already. I didnt really enjoyed it because it was cold food.

Quaint little place! Sweetest owner. HF rice noodles in pho, vermicelli. Separate fryer for gluten free spring rolls- a little too crispy for me but still good

went to this place on a Tuesday since Red Cafe was closed. Huge red flags no people inside just a single woman at the back. No atmosphere no customers and bland food. Went to eat at lunch time.
I walk past here a lot never see any people eating.

Run, don't walk.... But in the other direction across the street.
The lady was really kind but oh my gosh, I've had my fair share of bad food and bad/cheap portions but this is next level. I almost think it has to be intentional...you know. I feel so robbed, I paid 50 dollars (after tip) for two lemon grass vermicelli bowls. I really wish I had looked at the reviews before I ordered.. would not recommend ever which is unfortunate because I like supporting small businesses. Weird conversation with the owner too about her rental that available, just all around an eerie vibe to the place. Almost like it's not real.
