The rare beef pho was the best I’ve had in Vancouver, if not the world. I also had a great chat with my server who was knowledgeable, kind and extremely efficient. I will always recommend this restaurant as the go to for Pho in Vancouver.

We have never eaten such a well made pho, ideally seasoned, portions - huge! :)
Definitely visit once more and definitely recommend a friend!

The Lemongrass Chicken with spring rolls was extremely tasty and definitely worth the $19. While some comments suggest this place might not be the destination for authentic food, our experience was fantastic! The chicken was juicy, the salad was well-dressed, and the vermicelli was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were so generous that we ended up taking most of our food home for later. I would definitely come back.

Good portions and the soup is delicious. It is a bit pricey but I got a ton of meat in my pho. Not bad, better than food spots on university Blvd.

Good experience last night. I asked the young man to recommend a meal, which was the pork chop, and it was excellent. So much food, even for a big eater like me. Will definitely be back.

A cockroach was crawling on the booth where I was eating. I just can't fathom going back here after seeing that.

For a pho place at UBC, it's pretty good but it lacks authenticity. I mean, the broth is great but you don't get a plate of bean sprouts and basil leaves like you do at other pho restaurants. I thought maybe at first, they forgot but my second time eating in, they forgot again. No one got it so that seems to be the norm. Service is prompt. Food is good. Also for big eaters, try to do an add-on. I added a lemongrass chicken to my pho and ended up bringing home 2 large pieces of grilled chicken for dinner. The servings are plentiful. Meat balls can be a little more plump, quail eggs in a seafood soup?? Music is a bit rad for this place too but catered to students, it's understandable.

I don’t know the owner, and i rarely leave reviews on google, but reading some weird reviews here made me do this. I can cook Pho at home and am ?? but I approve the taste of Pho here, it’s decent and better than many places outside of Vietnam. Someone just complained about the fatty beef slices in the Pho they ordered, so i guess many people don’t understand there’re different types of beef you can order for Pho, get the sirloin cut (rare beef) one and it will be lean and soft. I like the beef broth, very southern style Pho of ??.

Service was good, they’re just students working part-time and attentive, i had no problem.

The fact that they offered free extra broth and noodles is a plus. I never could finish a bowl of Pho there, so the portion is good. Maybe lower the price and put a smaller size in the menu. Chili sauce there is authentic (though siracha is not authentic sauce for Pho, and chili sauce in general for ??)

It’s funny that looking at the pictures of the bad reviews made me crave for a Pho here so gonna order one now. You guys took pretty good pictures lol

Keep in mind that not only this place, Pho restaurants outside of Vietnam don’t want to make it super authentic because they need to please 1001 tastes of nationality.

For a restaurant establishment, beef is not tender and onions are raw and way too thickly cut. Noodles are chopped to ~3cm in length, so slurping is impossible.Takeout service is also bad. Utensils and the beansprouts + sauces were not included. Other pho restaurants include it as part of their checklist.

Went to UBC for the Food Truck Festival. Instead, we ended up having lunch here. We should have eaten at the festival. This is an imitation Phở restaurant or a Phở-wannabe restaurant. Their phở soup tasted nothing like authentic ones. It also has no Vietnamese phở names, like Bún Bò Huế, Phở tái Nam, or Phở bò viên, for example. My $18.50 "Spicy Beef Noodle Soup" tastes somewhat similar to Bun Bo Hue but lacks all the major ingredients found in real BBH. It only comes with meatballs and beef slices typically used in Hot Pots or Shabu Shabu. ? The taste is also very mild in comparison and lacks any herb flavor. The $19 "Special Noodle Soup" is laughable, not even close to any beef pho we have ever tasted. But nothing is worse than what I am about to say....In both the noodles, the beef slices were HOLY SH*T!! - SO MUCH FAT! ?‍?? There were less than half edible meat portions in each slice. Don't know if we should ROFL or go postal. Either way, one of the worst beef phở we have ever eaten in the world (only two other phở restaurants in the world are worse than Phở With Us', and we have eaten many phở in many, many countries in our world travels!)Three hours later, my stomach was growling and I had to eat a full meal. Therefore, Pho With Us' pho is considered a snack. $19 FOR A SNACK. Sheesh!!!.Picture 1: $18.50 "S1 Spicy Beef Noodle Soup." Doesn't look greasy initially. Wait till the end....Picture 2: $19 "P1 Special Noodles Soup"Picture 3: Every beef slice is filled with fats. Not for human consumption!Picture 4: A thick layer of grease formed on the surface at the end of the meal.
