For the prices being charged, this level of quality and service is unacceptable. Vancouver has an incredible food scene with countless restaurants that care about what they serve and how they treat people. Unfortunately, Picado is not one of them. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal or even basic courtesy.

Everything was mid, the most disturbing part was there was a lady behind the counter eating the toppings like nuts just poppin them in her mouth no gloves and just leaving on the table. To be honest that was kinda scary to think about.
Reply to the owner: I saw an older lady with a headscarf with her elbow on the white prep board just eating the toppings like it were snacks. After I finished my meal as I was walking out and through the old take out window I saw her just reach for the olives and just kept eating them, while cleaning around the edges of the food insert pans. I'm 1000% sure of what I saw. I understand that happens all the time, but maybe not a good idea for you guys because your kitchen faces outside.

What an amazing place. Picado is run by a wonderful couple, and their hospitality is genuinely warm and welcoming. The pizzas are outstanding — incredible flavours, and a perfectly made base that really sets them apart. Highly recommended.
