Wonderful place to try on an impromptu getaway to Vancouver. We did the tasting menu, and loved the flavors of the miso cured sablefish especially. The roasted pear for dessert was also a highlight. The owner explained several of the dishes and the sake menu to us, and was a delight to talk to.
We had the vegetarian and omnivore tasting menus last night- they were absolutely delicious! Hard to pick favourites- both the miso sablefish and Korean rice cake were standouts! Brandon and his team were incredible. Definitely follow their recommendations for sake - they know their stuff! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks team!
My first visit to this restaurant was back in 2018 with my boyfriend, and we indulged in the foie gras bowl. It was absolutely divine. Fast forward to today, October 22, 2024, and I returned with a friend. I’m happy to report that the dish is just as exquisite as I remember. The flavors remain consistently delightful, and given the quality, the pricing is more than fair.
