I looked at their pastries. Then I said I'm ready to order. Woman said OK and just stared at her phone. I just left after that. Also, it was a little bit pricey.

I've been going to Pine House Bakery for 25 years! They have multiple locations. Quality and service have always been consistent and good for me. So much variety and price isn't that expensive. Today it snowed so much on Feb 2nd 2025 yet their Kingsway location is open. Thank you for saving us, otherwise we have no food to feed our 3 hungry kids 🙏!
Parking: You can park at Royal Bank at your own risk, which is right around the corner. Or park at the London Drugs Plaza across the street for free and walk few minutes.

T&T Hua’s wife cakes come from here! The winter melon filling is sufficient, the cake is soft and not easy to fall apart, and the sweetness is moderate. It is a must-have every time you return to the United States!

I got my mom her usual fruit cake for her birthday and this year they used cool whip instead of real whipping cream. The cake looked nice, tasted cheep and horrible.

Super disappointed! I always buy my cakes from here but after yesterday, I Will NEVER buy a cake or anything here ever again.. the cake tasted sour! It was pretty disgusting! So gross! We had kids and pregnant people eating this cake! It could have caused some serious stomach issues..

Rude staff who flat out said it's impossible to give me a box for the multiple buns I was ordering, because she already put them in plastic bags. When she finally gave me a box, she charged me $3 for it and berated me as if it was a huge annoyance to her. Something as simple as a box. I also heard her trading rude remarks about me with her colleague in Cantonese as she was ringing up my order. Never returning. The buns were also subpar quality.

Number 1 Bakery Tip is to go right when they open haha. I occasionally swing by before work to grab some buns. This way I know 100% of the time it came right out of the oven.

When we eat mango cakes, we expect fresh yellow mango slices, not dark ones obviously already rotten (even they were hidden in the middle layers....customers would still discover once they cut it into slices)....Does the shop just expect customers not bothered to return to shop to complain? Right I didn't take it back to the shop as I was embarassingly entertaining my guests but I write comments here to let others know
