My wife and I just popped in here for coffee and dessert; we will be forever thankful! 😘 The lattes were fantastically crafted, rich in flavour and the perfect bitter balance to the rich desserts.
My wife had the NY Cheesecake, which had a lovely Basque style with a perfectly dark top, beautiful bright tangy fruit and one of the straight up best and most pleasantly vanilla leaning cheesecakes I have eaten. An absolute hit if cheesecake is your thing!
I had the Dubai Chocolate pastry and was in literal heaven! The pistachio creme is rich and nutty, the crisp texture of the kunafa is literally *insane* and the chocolate shell was beautifully tempered and had such a rich dark tone to support everything else. 10/10. Maybe an 11/10. Could even be a 12/10.... 🤣♥️
Nice smooth Jazz instead of blaring pop music? Yes, I will have that 100% of the time please! And at a volume that allows conversation? Perfect.
Combine all of the above with the fantastic service and decent prices for this level of quality, and you have an absolute must try if you're in downtown Vancouver.

Came on a Monday and the schedule said it closes at 12am. We rushed down there and got there by 10:15pm and it was already closed. The place was cleared and signage were blocking the entrance. I saw someone updated 4 hours ago and it was full of people. Quite disappointed. We had to go to another dessert place and this time we called ahead even though it said closes at 12am.
Amazing selection of sweet treats, I asked and it’s all made in house!! And super kind staff that suggested since I couldn’t decide 😅 The decor is welcoming and large seating area accommodates the huge line up on most days!
I recommend: Kunafa: eat this as soon as you receive!! I made the camera eat first and missed out on the cheese pull 😔 Halawet Al Jibn: mochi-like and filled with ricotta - a must try!!! Cold Baklava: cool twist on the original! Pistachio Mousse: amazingggggggg is all I gotta say!
Karak chai was a good drink and I also like the butterfly pea tea and pomegranate tea 😋

A perfect birthday celebration at Pistachio Café in Vancouver! I celebrated my birthday here with my friends, and it was such a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. The Arabic desserts were absolutely the best — creamy, smooth, and full of flavor!
The pistachio chocolate birthday cake I pre-ordered was beyond amazing — so rich and beautifully made. A huge thank you to Hamzah, who prepared everything and made my birthday and surprise more beautiful than I could ever imagine. The Arabic music created the perfect vibe!
