I usually really like this place but seems the owner is charging gourmet prices for the basic slices now which is too bad,.. I am assuming the older man during the day is the owner. The pizza was very basic, I had a slice of cheese pizza and a slice with just mushroom. The prices and promotions advertised do not seem accurate anymore. The pizza wasn't awesome like it was previously, it's just average or below.

Visited this place today and really liked it! The owner (or the chef) is kind and attentive to clients, accepts clients' personal adjustments to pizzas. I got exactly what I wanted, particularly 4 different quarters to taste as more different pizzas as possible. There's also free additional parmejano and hot sauce. Price is reasonable. Will be visiting this place when I'm next time in Vancouver! Ohh ya, just forgot about a decent choice of vegeterian options.

As a tourist on my second visit to Vancouver I think it's safe to say I found my favorite pizza.

I've stopped in at all the other pizza joints in the area and while they were all mostly enjoyable nothing hits like the pepperoni pizza I had here at Pizza 2001.

The slices were big, 2 filled me up, and I can eat! The pepperoni was crispy, the cheese was perfectly placed and melty but what set this pizza apart was the sauce. They don't...
