We did happy hour here and the food and drinks were great! Pizzas were Neapolitan style and the salads were fresh! Definitely will visit again for the pizza!

First time there. Life long South Van resident. How I missed this place, I don't know. Great service, pleasant decor, and most of all, great food. I personally am a Pizza guy, I have had it all over the globe, especially Naples. My wife and I were there this afternoon and could not stop referring the taste of our pizza to the ones we had in Southern Itay. Will definitely go back.

This might be too strong but this might be the best food I’ve had at a restaurant EVER. We got the burrata Di Parma Pizza and the mushroom Pappardelle pasta and it was literally too die for. Highly recommend this place.

I had a Margherita — nothing fancy, no wild toppings or trendy ingredients — just traditional, high-quality pizza made with care. The crust was light and perfectly baked, the sauce had great flavor, and the cheese was just right.
If you appreciate straightforward, delicious pizza made the traditional way, this is the spot. No gimmicks — just great pizza.

Mouthwatering meatballs. YOU MUST ORDER THEIR KALE CAESAR. I DEMAND IT! LOL. Amazing Hawaiian pizza, and Spicy Pep is a winner too. I adore their Cacio E Pepe bucatini, and panna cotta for dessert is always a treat.

Carano is a really nice spot for deliciously baked pizza.
I’m very particular about pizza, I dont like it too thin where all the toppings fall off, and I dont like it too thick and greasy. Carano’s pizza is right in the middle , not too thin or thick, fresh toppings and nice toasty crust.
They also have great happy hour deals! We tried cacio e pepe + spicy pepperoni pizza with fermented honey. Delish!
Their tiramisu comes in a jar - also very good.
Service was also friendly. I will be back!

I tried both the Bolognese pasta and the Margherita pizza. The service was really fast, but when I opened the pizza, I noticed that the edges were burnt, so I couldn't eat them. The pasta was good, though not particularly impressive. Overall, the food could be improved, but the quality was decent

Cozy neighborhood restaurant, happy hour was a very good deal. Felt kind of rushed by our waitress even thought there were other seats around us but it was alright overall. She was kind enough to let us order with 10 minutes left until happy hour ended!
Would come back again with friends and try their drinks next time!
