Everyone living in the area knows and love this place. I enjoy the down to earth attitude and atmosphere of the place. Their breads are so good also, I always buy brioche here. I also love their canele

Friendly staff and freshly baked bread. The bread is a perfect compliment to anything on their menu.

Great food, though some French ambient music would really elevate the vibe.

This was possibly the most filthy food service establishment I’ve ever seen. I ordered a drip coffee to go before looking down at the grimy till, which quite literally was a jump scare. I was directed to the drip station to pour my coffee and it was equally horrifying. I took a video because I somehow felt I needed to share this. The kids working there are just working their summer jobs with clearly no motivation to clean in their downtown and I’m not sure work ethic was raised in them nor trained by the owner so I feared asking for a refund would be a hassle and with tight quarters I didn’t want to create a disturbance with the other patrons at all. Attached screen caps of just one mere corner of this dump. The dead murky mint water was the cherry on top. What a joke.

Feel like you’re in a Paris with a visit to this exceptional, unpretentious little bakery. The spinach feta croissant was spectacular, as was the baguette sandwich and the quiche. Also had an incredible London fog made with Paris tea, which was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The showstopper, though, was the Pain au Chocolat, fresh from the oven. Mon Dieu! Crisp, light, buttery and oozing with dark chocolate. (Next visit I will try the soup and almond croissant.)
This bakery has a heartwarming atmosphere too - not because of the plain decor, but because of the baker/owner Fabrice, who treats every customer as part of his soul family. In under 20 minutes I heard him speak four different languages with customers! Talk about an authentic European feel. This shop is definitely worth a visit.

Really don’t know what to say… their products look like they were baked by a five year old. I’m shocked anyone would display such awful baking. Tarts were lopsided, misshaped and oozing, bags of what I believe were madeleines but hard to tell as they were all broken and squashed, over baked croissants and pains aux chocolat that looked hard and doughy and the display cases looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a month. Maybe the day I went was an off day as what I saw just didn’t correlate with all the rave reviews. I wish I’d taken photos as it’s almost impossible to describe how bad the products looked. I can only hope they taste far better. But I doubt I’ll ever go back to find out.
This is a small French pastry shop run by a French owner. It has been in the neighborhood for many years, so it’s quite well known among locals who often stop by for freshly baked pastries. One of the main features here is that a few types of croissants are often just out of the oven. However, compared to croissants from many other bakeries, these are among the least impressive — they lack the flaky, layered texture and rich buttery flavor. If it weren’t for the convenience of the location, I probably wouldn’t come.
The biggest concern is hygiene. The shop is very small, and it’s common to see freshly baked items placed directly on the counter. Sometimes staff prepare sandwiches while also handling the cash register. The tables often have crumbs and greasy stains, and the owner himself doesn’t seem particularly clean — I’ve even seen him grab bread with his bare hands. Overall, unless convenience is your top priority, the cleanliness issues here are hard to overlook.

The best fresh bread you would ever need so tasty!
Excellent service, taste and all. The soup is delicious and their sándwiches amazing.
Delicious pastry, soup and coffee
Special words about tiramisu - it is something unthinkable, tender, mild sweet that just melts in your mouth
I was gifted a few quiches from Plaisir Sucré, and I can confidently say they were the best quiches I've ever had-hands down. The pastry was buttery and perfectly flaky, and the fillings were rich, flavourful, and clearly made with premium ingredients. You can taste the craftsmanship and French tradition in every bite.
This is not your average bakery-this is authentic, elevated French cuisine made with care and passion. I haven't even stepped foot in the shop yet, and I'm already blown away. I'll be visiting this week and can't wait to explore more of their offerings. Absolutely
incredible. A true gem in the city.
Coffee is not the best. The bread used for the sandwiches is quite good, but the fillings not so much. Better off at subway if you want a sandwich. If you want good quality bread and pastry’s come here.
