Bad music playing way too loudly. Sometimes I come in here and the music is good and at a respectable volume, but other times it is blasting garbage and I can’t even hear myself think. It is really a shame because this is an otherwise very good cafe. This just ruins it so much; it makes it unbearable to do anything relaxing or that requires focus.

I don't get a chance to get up here to Platform 7 very often, as I live in Richmond.
When I am working up in that area of town it's always a pleasure to stop in for a coffee.
Super friendly staff, a very quaint heritage atmosphere.

A cappuccino from Platform 7 is the standard I hold all other cappuccinos to - paired with an almond croissant, it makes for an excellent weekend breakfast or mid-day treat
It's a very cute place for having coffee with a friend...if you could find a table. 80% were occupied by laptop workers

A coffee shop has been situated around Broadway for quite some time, and it boasts a significant amount of seating. However, their outdated policy of allowing customers to occupy seats with laptops is problematic. It's clear that this approach is not sustainable in the long run, especially when patrons monopolize the seating area. They need to take action and revise this practice. While the coffee is average, the prices are reasonable, but this does not compensate for the lack of space for other customers.

Nice place and atmosphere with average drinks at an average price. My complaint is the Wi-Fi sucks so it's unfortunately not a great spot for me to work. You have to leave and join every hour to get the captive portal to pop up which lets you say yes to another hour, very silly. It's also extremely slow, like decades ago slow. I have no idea how they have a business internet plan that's this slow. Please upgrade to Telus fiber or something and drop the hour intervals!
