This cafe has a ton of potential. They have a beautiful aesthetic and vibe.
The service is quite slow; with such loud music they should to grab customers names and make sure everyone can hear who’s order is ready. Also, for a place that charges $8 for a cold brew, I would hope they can spare money for fans and air conditioning. Normally you go to a cafe on a hot day to get out of the sun and cool down - sitting in there for 10 mins was warmer than Kits Beach.
With a few changes to their service and tweaks to their setup(simply adding fans at all seating or central AC) this can become an amazing cafe.

My partner and I love the food and coffee at Platform 7, but we’ve been avoiding it lately because the music is almost always too loud, even early in the morning, which is unfortunate. If you enjoy lively places with loud music, this might be the spot for you. But if you prefer a quieter coffee experience, you may want to look elsewhere. We’ve even asked them to lower the volume, but it usually goes back up soon after. That said, the breakfast sandwich and cappuccino are excellent.

Unfortunately I didn’t really have a good time at this place.
I didn’t have a good experience with the staff. The place was loud with music. I tried the GF Red Velvet cookie and it was a bit too sugary for me (although might be normal for someone else). Coffee tasted good but wasn’t actually what I ordered.
I like the idea that they want booths to be shared—it just makes sense. The seats weren’t that comfortable though. I’m not thinking of going there again.

Tried multiple cafes around the city and I can say by far this place has the best coffee in Vancouver
Great decor and vibe. I had a cortada it was great. Also had a cinnamon roll which was darker than I expected giving it a chewy texture with a lot of caramelized sugar which I thought was uniquely good!
