Polonia Sausage store has the most fabulous selection of delicatessen meats including my favourite the most delicious ham you’ll ever taste. If you have loved ones with European upbringing this is the place to come to select the finest imports from Poland and Europe especially those Christmas chocolates Polonia is beyond immaculate & for 30 years it stood on the corner of Hastings and Nanaimo now down the street towards the PNE and right across from Shoppers Drug Mart .....
A friend recommended Polonia for locally made Polish sausages, but this deli offered so much more. Fresh baked breads abs sweets, canned and jarred goods, imported chocolates and treats as well as pierogi and cabbage rolls in the freezer. The staff provides guidance as to best choices for me!
Visited on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 afternoon.Right on Hastings Street, close to the intersection with Nanaimo Street, there is a place of 'Happiness'; where in spite of this pandemic, with strict measures for prevention, and underneath face masks, there are kind smiles with efficient and affable service.Everything inside this little store is neatly placed in a stage and waiting for you to enjoy. They even have fresh bread and pastry around.With all these travel restrictions...
