Hye

I had some expectations for this place, but the food we tried was very disappointing.

The Laksa lacked flavor and toppings—it was honestly the worst Laksa I’ve had in Vancouver. The Sambal Eggplant was okay, but it felt like it could’ve been better seasoned since the eggplant tasted a bit bland. The Crispy Pata was also disappoing. The skin was very crispy, but the meat inside was so dry that I didn’t want more than one bite.

Thankfully, the Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken was fine. I enjoyed the chicken and the yum yum sauce.

The atmosphere was nice, but since I had to order at the counter and considering the prices, it was definitely not worth the visit

Absolutely loved this bright unfussy restaurant. The Brussel Sprouts appy was so deliciously crisp, with fish sauce for umami as well as a gentle heat and topped off with pork floss for perfection. Also had the Spicy Adobe sandwich- yup, a wee bit spicy for me but soo delicious through my tears. I can't wait to come back to Vancouver and see what new creations are on the menu.

Food is good, but the price doesn’t justify it, whoever is marketing the price isn’t smart, I’m more intelligent than that

Love the pork belly and gailan, and the roti with condensed milk and milo is to die for! Been here multiple times now, and service has been excellent every time. The vibe brings me back to good memories in Singapore. Definitely recommend

Surprisingly great experience at this small eatery! Spotted milo dinosaur & milo roti, and Malaysian me was sold :)

Roti canai was crisp and flaky, laksa had a creamy Singaporean-style broth, and char kway teow had a nice wok hei. Nitpicky msians would ask for more lime and chili, but pretty legit flavors — (especially with an angmoh cook)!

Aw. Did the owner change? It’s not the same quality anymore. Lost its special something about this place we felt a year ago and now it is just another mediocre, overpriced restaurant that tries too hard to be cool. Thanks for all the good times in the past and you will be missed.

Exceptional. Roti canai were the ?. Eggplants were also the ?. Noodles in paradise (?) were good too, just not heavenly, but overall, a top recommendation. I'd eat there all the time if it were closer.

Great service and lovely local.

I came here with my friend for the first time today. I got the laksa and she had the stir fried noodles. The food was very delicious, and we loved the interior design of the restaurant. I will be back for sure! :)

Had the char kway teow and salted egg yolk chicken wings. Both were very good, better than other southeast Asian places in Vancouver!
