The staff at this spot are the real draw for me, Rishi and his team are always lovely. They make my mornings brighter. (Shout out to Nate too!) I appreciate them!!! Also that west coast toast keeps me going on days when I need a special pick me up. In a sea of coffee places, they do have something a little special.

Solid coffee, but it’s fruit fly city inside.

Great coffee but sadly they serve leftover pastries for the next day. I love the cookies with no name and the breakfast cookie, but every time I get it , it is ROCK hard...not fresh . I even ask the barista and they said they don’t have fresh ones in the morning. Gave up getting their cookies now. If you want fresh pastries you’re better off going to Batard bakery down 2 blocks.

Prado is one of the better cups of coffee in Vancouver . They are open at 7 am and Fraser Street is a cozy location usually with a few seats available . Food choices are decent quality offering breakfast sandwiches , lunch sandwiches and pastries . I usually order the ham and egg breakfast sandwich and ot the three cheese grilled sandwich .

Ava is the reason I keep coming back. Every time she makes my latte, it’s perfect — you can tell she puts real skill and care into her work. But it’s not just the coffee, it’s her whole presence. Ava has this warm smile and positive energy that instantly brightens your day. She makes customers feel valued, remembered, and welcomed, which is rare to find.
Her attention to detail, consistency, and friendly communication truly set her apart. She’s not just making drinks, she’s creating an experience and that’s why she deserves recognition. Honestly, Prado is lucky to have her. Thank you, Ava, for making every visit feel special❣️❣️❣️

Nice location with lots of natural light! If you’re looking to avoid the noise and crowd at Slo, Prado is a great alternative. I’m a simple person, a latte or London Fog is enough to make me happy 😊I really like Prado’s London Fog. There's just something a little special about it compared to other cafés. Can’t quite explain it, but it hits different in the best way (but it's latte in the photo oops😬)
FYI, if you’re planning to study or work and need access to an outlet, don’t panic when you see only two in the main space. There’s more seating off to the right near the washroom, and that area has plenty of outlets. You'll just need to be okay with sharing a large communal table.
SLO coffee is always filled with people so this is a great alternative

I had try the carrot cake from other Prado places and I just try the one from this branch a few minutes ago and it was a disappointment, the taste it's not what I'm use to from your cakes and come on almost 7 dollars for a super small slice? That really bothered me.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered a chi to go and it was not very “chi” and luke warm. Also ordered an espresso and it was awful. Whatever they are doing they are not doing it well. Definitely not worth going again.
Good atmosphere and good food!

I was so disappointed, it was following reading a post about this restaurant that I wished to visit it while in Vancouver and arranged for a get together with friends . Service was beyond dismal, the food was unappetizing ( only ate half my sandwich) Will not be returning or recommending

We stopped by intending to have lunch at Prado on Fraser. There are two vegan options on the menu: Vegan Fiesta wrap, and Mint Pea Avo Smash. It was a good thing I asked about garlic because that ingredient was not clearly listed on the menu. Both vegan options use mashed avocado which contains garlic already mixed in. No lunch for me then. I ordered toast with butter. My partner ordered avo toast and eggs and confirmed that the garlic was indeed noticeable. I was actually glad I did not go for avo as I only like freshly sliced avocado rather than ripe and mashable avocado. Besides, avocado is a high histamine food, so, I should avoid it anyway. Fortunately, my sourdough toast was very enjoyable. Drink wise, my small latte was not – too bitter for me to finish.
