There was no service we had to search ourselves for our server and they didn't even offer us dessert or ask if we like the food. The place was empty. The food was good not the best. Would not come back or leave tip. If you see our server say we still searching for him. And to bring us dessert if they exist.
Really good seafood chowder. Excellent service from our waitress. Quiet evening; not much crowd on a Saturday night. Very pleasant.
Our server was both inexperienced as well as non-fluent in English. It made very interaction more challenging than it needs to be.
Chic, relaxed, and seriously underrated — perfect for a classy yet casual night out. 🍸🍽️
I came to Prestons not knowing what to expect, but I left genuinely impressed. It’s stylish without being pretentious — modern decor, a beautiful bar, and plenty of comfortable seating both indoors and outside.
The menu has a little something for everyone: steaks, seafood, pasta — and they’re not just “hotel food” like you might assume. I had the grilled salmon with risotto and it was buttery, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We also ordered their truffle fries and a couple cocktails (try the cucumber gin fizz — so refreshing), and everything hit the mark.
Service was surprisingly fast and very professional. Our server was attentive without hovering and made great recommendations that suited our taste.
It’s also a great spot if you're looking for somewhere quiet to have a drink and chat — whether it’s after work or before heading downtown. The fact that they offer takeout and delivery as well just adds to the flexibility.
If you’re near Coal Harbour or downtown Vancouver, definitely give Prestons a try — you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I’ll be back soon — and next time, I’m bringing more friends. ✨
Good menu selection. The fish dishes are the best .The sangria is also very good
Excellent experience ! Service with hostess Maureen was quick and attentive , breakfast was well enjoyed . Recommended highly .
I usually stop by for lunch during work days and I just love the atmosphere, I must mention that Maureen is really friendly and always so helpful. Definitely coming back for the burger !!
Our first breakfast at the restaurant was better than the second day. People who follow a vegan diet, be sure to ask if what you are ordering is actually vegan. Although the chia pudding states it’s vegan on the menu, they had put Greek yogurt in it and I had to confront them as I knew it wasn’t vegan when they brought it! This was confirmed by staff after I confronted them and sent it back.
The food was delicious. I had the seafood chowder and king salmon The service was somewhat slow- shortage of staff or new people? I was my birthday and my friends decided to pay for my dinner and it was a challenge for them to divide it into four?!
Ordered take out.. instead of room service. Big mistake. Dinner 33$ plus a tip. Which i should have skipped. Food slopped in the container. No seperate dish for the tarter sauce. Lemon plopped on top of the sauce. Soggy fish batter that flopped off when lifted. Fried placed on top of the coleslaw and tarter. Never again.

It's a strange little spot that doesn't quite know it's vibe. Decent food and wine and very nice service.

Always wondering about this place, looks quiet but I guess because of location. Finally I tried tonight with family for Happy Hour/Dinner. Service was good, food came a bit slow considering we were only one table at that time, but bearable. Prosicutto & Fig & Onion flatbread was pretty good and lemon dessert as well! I would be back!
