Great dim sum. You may have a wait to get a table but the food is always worth it.

They have a really good Dim Sum. Prince Seafood Restaurant is one of my favourite Dim Sum restaurants in Metro Vancouver.

The images on their menu are 1,000,000 times better than the actual food itself. I look at the menu and I’m really excited. When I eat it, a whole different story. One of the worst tasting Chinese Restaurants I’ve ever eaten, not just in Vancouver but in my whole life. The ingredients were very inconsistent. We ordered a Fish and Tofu Claypot, the fish was not fresh and basically almost rotting (frozen fish that hasn’t been used for like a long time) but the tofu was good. It also had a very weird texture that I did not like. With some of the quality of ingredients being horrendous, diarrhea was inevitable and that was not a good time. Their Ximiru desert was horrendous. Can’t even give more than 1 star on food… Service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant is designed like a very modern Chinese restaurant. Why can’t they focus on the food instead and use fresh ingredients… what happened to last year? Last year, this place was so much more consistent and better-tasting with larger portions. My parents had better experiences before. The quality has dropped off so hard and I hope it doesn’t go below any further. Absolutely disappointing.

We’ve tried many Chinese restaurants, but this place suits our taste the best. Not only does it match our family’s preferences, but even when friends from afar come to visit, everyone praises the food here—especially the delicious dim sum. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. The restaurant is always busy, so if you don’t want to wait, I’d recommend calling ahead to reserve a table.
