Excellent all around. Delicious tasting menu with some truly unique dishes. Our server was a pleasure to interact with and really made our meal unique
Dinner at Published was amazing. Such a great experience . Ali wasn’t a “server” in any traditional sense; he was an educator, a storyteller, and a guide. Every dish came with context and curiosity, inviting us to think, feel, and taste more deeply. He didn’t just explain the food — he brought it to life.
The food itself was incredible. Each plate played with our brains and souls.
Published is doing something truly special

Food was phenomenal - definitely worth the hype. Service was also spectacular... shout out to Jamie we absolutely loved you!
Tasting menu was excellent - the pairings were a bit overpriced at $155 each considering the size of the pours. But some unique delicious cocktails. Service was brilliant.
Oct 22, 2025 - For my 40th birthday, we came to this restaurant (we drove 1 hour for it) for the 1st time, and for the most expensive restaurant that I have been in Vancouver area ($315/person), it wasn't good!!!
Time between courses was about 15 to 20 minutes, even on the starters.
Music was to loud, couldn't hear the explanation about the dishes.
A couple that arrived after us (probably 20-30 minutes later and was having the same tasting menu) was getting food before us by the end of our menu.
They forgot to bring one of the wines on the wine pairing. They were nice and tried to make it up to us by bringing extra wine and spirits, but the point of having the wine to match and perfect the food experience was lost.
Because the restrooms are beside the kitchen, staff keeps bumping into you on the corridor and the stairs.
We could see the staff walking around with your food, going to the other table (by mistake) and 2 minutes later bringing it to you.
The wine pairing explanation should be done before the food arrive and not after, so you dont need to wait for it's explanation, while the food is getting colder.
1st meal arrived at 18:29
12th meal arrived at 21:03 (2:34 total)
At El Celler de Can Roca (Spain - 3 Michelin star restaurant), the 32 meal course has taken 2:30 to 3 hours to be completed.
Starter Score 3/10
Main 8/10
Desert 7/10
The best meal was the mushroom soup.

After writing this review, I started reading other people's review and just realized this is a 1 Michelin Star restaurant.
Now I am even more disappointed!!
Ps. Even for a table of 2, on the taste menu they charge the tip (20%) upfront.
You will pay $106 on tip for a terrible experience.
Can I at least have a refund on the tips? Lol

Some really enjoyable sharing dishes with some of my favourites being the Burrata, Chargrilled Venison, and the Hay desert along with a number of items from the Crown Roast Holiday Duck Feast December special we had.
Staff were attentive and friendly making for a pleasant dining experience.

We had a wonderful fall tasting menu dining experience at Published. Each dish was beautifully prepared and uniquely delicious, you could tell that a lot of work and attention was put into each dish. The service was excellent - Tristan, Joe and the rest of the team were all very professional, attentive and efficient. The pacing was just right as there were many dishes and gave us some time to digest between each dish. Some favourites were the Poached Oyster Smoked garlic with preserved tomato, Spotted Prawn Nasturtium BC Citrus Kosho, Foie Gras Root Beer, Toasted Hay Dungeness Crab, BC Matsutake mushroom in the aromatic yuzu dashi broth was exceptional, and most favourite dessert was the Black Sunchoke Dilly Bar. The main dish of BC pork was well prepared and delicious and exceeded expectation (since I’m very picky on pork dishes). We walked out well-fed and happy with the food and the service.

I was excited to dine here and it lived up to its reputation. Leslie was warm and friendly and a master with whiskey cocktails. She created a signature cocktail that looks like a rain cloud over a water hole - visually stunning and so delicious. The dishes were equally amazing. The experience at the bar is intimate and wonderful.

Amazing from start to finish. Love the octopus, the lamb ravioli, and the famous dessert which looks like shredded cabbage with a dollop of sour cream on top of which, in fact is sour apple chips with a beautiful chamomile moose.
We had great meal the other night - everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The servers were all very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the ingredients and preparation that made the dining experience more enjoyable.
