Simply the best cafe in downtown Van. The quality and variety of breads/pastries blew me away. My fave was the chocolate loaf with expresso icing/frosting with a flat white to accompany.

They have so many options to choose from, everything from pastries to cakes, both sweet and savory!
I got a cappuccino and the blueberry basil lemon scone. The scone was perfectly buttery, crumbly, and just slightly sweet with a really nice flavor combination. The cappuccino was great as well.
The person helping me was super kind and gave me honest recommendations, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be going back to try more pastries!

I asked for a chocolate cookie, walked out and took a bite. Realized immediately it was a chocolate chip cookie. Came back, asked them to switch it for the chocolate one in their display. They said no, I needed to say “salted chocolate cookie” if I wanted that, rather than “chocolate cookie.” The manager wouldn’t assist in making an exchange. The cookie cost almost $5. I will never go back.
