Purebread Bakery + Coffee

I visited Purebread Bakery for coffee, and it was such a great experience! They had an incredible variety of sweets with different flavors to choose from. The coffee was perfectly balanced, and we ordered a chocolate cupcake and a lemon cupcake. Both were fresh and absolutely delicious.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy coffee and you’re a cake lover, Purebread Bakery is an excellent choice

The food here is consistently delicious, making it a favorite of ours. However, this location can feel a bit cramped, especially during busy hours when seating is limited. The limited street parking can also be challenging, which occasionally leads us to visit other locations instead.

Bought a coconut lemon cupcake here for about $8.50 (including tax). It was dry and stale. Took it back to the counter and asked when it was baked and she said “about two days ago.” So the cupcake was on day three. When I said it was inedible she said “fair.” She gave me a refund. My question is: if it’s more than a day old why are you charging $8 for it? Really disappointing.

I love everything about PureBread. It's too good... I'm glad it's not closer or it'd be a problem lol. Nothing not to like.

Go here for unique baked items every time I visit Vancouver. Never have tried their savory items but they look amazing. Love all the many different items I've purchased.

Although the shop itself has lovely looking pastries, and a pleasant vibe, the place is let down by the staff on the day I was there. They were slow, ponderous, pedantic and somewhat brusque. They didn’t listen properly to my order (my coffee was not what I asked for) and whilst I was there one staff member yelled across the cafe to tell a customer off for something incredibly trivial. Another staff member didn’t seem to understand Canadian coins or the card payment machine.
Unless you have a spare half hour to place a simple order for coffee and then wait for them to correct it, avoid.

I live in the neighbourhood and I’ve always wanted to come try their pastries 🥐.. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious their chocolate almond croissant was, also the service was very fast and efficient. The two ladies that worked this Sunday were both excellent, offered great 👍🏻 service and were very friendly and pleasant! Can’t wait to come back!!

Walked in and there were so many different pastries to choose from. The baked goods are definitely on the pricier side, up to 12 for a small cake (more like a cupcake). They don’t have a ton of drink options other than coffee and plain tea. The atmosphere was very nice, calming music and not too busy. The tables are a bit small so not ideal for studying but great for a chat or meal. Overall, the employees were nice and it was a good experience.

A great place for sweet treats and coffee/tea. There's a good selection of baked goodies - cookies, bars, cakes, breads and scones for all occasions. It was worth the drive after reading the reviews.

- we tried the brownie (gluten free) and blackberry lemon bar. Our favourite was the brownie. Both were tasty and fresh. If you need a cake for a special occasion, they have whole cakes and loaves available. The prices were reasonable considering it was good quality. They had a couple of samplings near the cash register.
- seating is available with a nice vibe to the place
- servers were friendly.

I'll be back to try their other tasty treats.

Dietary restrictions: There are goodies such as the brownie made with almond flour. Options available for those with dietary restrictions. Just ask.

Parking: Due to construction on West Broadway, look for free neighborhood parking around the street corner.
