We frequently pop in for a drink and a vegan scone. The staff are fantastic. I would give five stars except for the unfortunate $1 surcharge for non dairy milk. It is highly unethical given a huge portion of the global population is lactose intolerant. Regardless of dairy subsidies which are also inequitable, you are treating non dairy like a luxury item. There are lawsuits pending against companies such as Starbucks for the surcharge and hopefully this trickles down to all cafes. I encourage Purebread to lead the ethical change we need in Vancouver and remove the surcharge.

This is one of many Pure Bread locations in the Vancouver area. They have a great selection of both sweet and savory baked items. There is an endless number of choices, and they have great espresso coffee as well. There is plenty of indoor parking. The service is great and I love going to this place. Be sure to check out pure bread if you are looking for some great options for yourself or friends and family.

The bakery display is a treat for your eyes! They have a good selection of vegan options. It would be awesome if they had some savory vegan choices, too. Coffee ok, only one size and not the best on town.

Their pastries are not fresh. It has been twice in a row now where the slice of cake I purchased was dry and dense and the icing was hard, clearly not a fresh product. Even after reheating, the cake was plain and the icing too sweet.

Very appealing bread in display. Food and coffee are both good.
Good desserts, favourite item is the gluten free brownie. Received a mildly dry cheese scone on my most recent visit but usually a good

Their menu changes often, but they often have a pretty good assortment of vegan products. Updated from previous review on 2023-10-01

We were visiting from Toronto. Came her to try the Cinnamon cream buns. Overall nice place with nice looking pastries. My only semi-negative comment is this: I had pointed over the glass to indicate to the server what wanted to be told "not to point at the food". I assume this is more to avoid the risk that people reaching over the glass may have something on their hands that might drop onto the pastries, either that or they wanted to make sure the pastries weren't offended by me pointing at them. In retrospect I think this took me aback because of the tone of voice of the person helping us when telling me not to point, like I was a 5 year old kid (for reference I'm in my late 40s!). Who knows maybe she was having an off day.
