Get railed at the... wait uhhh actually..... The staff are super friendly and nice never a bad experience. Coffee... its Coffee I've had worse. The food though thats where this place shines. The quiche especially a little over priced but literally chaca-block full dude. I don't come here often enough but I don't live in the area so that makes sense. If you do though this place is awesome!!!

All things considered, I just felt like it was overpriced. Two medium sized sandwiches & two coffees were over $40.

I went there for a late and was going to sit down and read my Globe and Mail.
I dropped a few coins into the tip jar by the cash register.
When I looked at my receipt I didn’t like the tip being automatically deducted especially since I had given them a tip already.
I think that they are more money than service driven.

Leadership here is on the right track with the speedy and quality service. The croissant was recommended and it was one of the best ones have had around town.

Nothing like it in the city. Over priced for even a loaf of bread but food is good and healthy and the chefs clearly put time in effort into picking fresh ingredients. Sometimes they can't catch everything but they do a great job.

If your looking to host a catering event for lunch that is simple and satisfying, railtown did an amazing job.
They provided all the bowls and cutlery, the plating was done wonderful, and their service is very customer connected.
My favourite dish was their salmon. I was expecting it to be a touch dry, but it wasn't. The sandwiches were big and filling, with a nice variety of layers.
I definitely recommend their lunch catering menu. Would I call them again? Yes, absolutely. It got the job done, and most importantly, they were on time. My biggest pet peeve is when a catering company is late...

I am loving this place as more i explore and modify my food. I took Reuben sandwich. The best reuben i ever had. The beef was juicy and tasty inside. Bread quality outstanding.
Build your own salad another beast which i took to go. Quite rear places let us choosing own ingredients for salad from root and 6 different lettuce option always attract my work colleague.
I recently started working nearby building. I always go there in my break, food get delivered quickly, i eat and come back in 30 minute. Ofcourse i order ahead. Since last few days am trying breakfast sandwiches and lunch. I am fully satisfied with the food in qualitywise, healthwise and tastewise.
Service: Service is super nice. Cold water acces to drink, washroom, open sitting area and servers are nice and professional specially one lady name cess who talk a lot in cute way. You can always discuss with Chef's if you want soecial modication like i always ask my sandwich bread to be toasted and try different sauce and crispy onion.
Overall: Raitown is best in the town for quality, taste and service.

We are so happy to have worked with Railtown for our wedding catering. We came in for a tasting and we were sold right when we tasted the canapes. Their selected menu options were delicious and we got many compliments on the food from our wedding guests. Alexa was great to work with and was very responsive to our questions and requests. On the day of, they were efficient in setting up and cleaning up. Would highly recommend!
Favourite sandwich and bowl place for lunch in Vancouver. Excellent catering for smaller events too! We go every time we are in Vancouver on a weekday; a must try for food, coffee, and baked goods.
I go here quite a bit but normally on the weekends as they have the best breakfast sandwich hash brown combo in the city, I switch from sausage to the smoked tomato.
I go occasionally during the week as I work one block away, normally I get salads but notice they have freshly carved brisket and I'm sure I've seen the same as in a turkey breast.
So I went today and ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and was very excited as I thought I was getting carved turkey, what I got looked like cheap thin deli style turkey with very little flavor.
For 16 dollars I wasn't excited when I got back to work.
I will still go back on weekends and for salads during my work week but now that Pallet has sandwiches I'll probably go there for one.
Still Railtown does do a scratch kitchen and there products are made of top ingredients.
I'm a semi retired Chef and appreciate that aspect of the business.
Side note I just tried the sausage rolls and it was delicious.

Love the atmosphere! I ordered the Kale Ancient Grain salad and it was very bland unfortunately. Not worth it for the lack of flavour but at least it was healthy. Sandwiches are great though!

I haven't been in a few years and I have seriously been missing out. I forgot how damn good their sandwiches are, absolutely amazing. The Reuben is to die for.
