Best place in Vancouver for live music. Cheap drinks and an awesome vibe to the place. It's my favourite for a good night out.

It was a terrible experience. One of the female waiters keep saying that my friend disrespected her which was totally not true since I was the eye witness. My friend told her that she could get the bill from other tables till he figure out who's paying for our table. We were a group of people sitting in the patio in different tables. And the female waiter said, you are being rude and brought a security guy to escort not only him but everyone at the table out in 5 min. This left such a bad taste in our mind that I'm telling all my friends not to go there ever again.I wish I could give a 0 star for this place.

Used to have a good time here back before Covid. Ventured here with about 30 other colleagues after an industry event. The waitress was rude throughout and eventually someone spoke out to her attitude which resulted in her calling security and accusing folks of laughing at her unreasonable behavior. No management was involved. The security guy just went along with the waitress. Just left a bad taste in our mouth and made it awkward in the end to stick around.

Very cool with live music, great staff, pinball..gets a little hot when it's packed so prepared but definitely a 4* place didn't try the food so maybe next time we can make that 4 a 5!!!Be coming on the 15th for the show, let's see if u can get that 5th star!

I've been coming here for years. One of the few places left in Vancouver that still hosts live music.Sorta sad that they are only open Wednesday to Sundays. Used to be open all the time pre-pandemic. It's a Donnelly bar but very different aesthetic to their other locations, more true to the tone of the city.Cheap beers and a really good local craft selection. Happy hour is a steal. Servers are always friendly and if you come often remember you by name.Wish they'd bring back the lunch time happy hour but probably a good idea that they don't because I'd be here all the time.Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly, they have great selection of beers and their happy hour menu and prices are one of the best in the city.

Would have left a 5 star review if the server hadn’t have charged me 5 GUN SODA WATERS for our designated driver! One soda water charge makes sense but all the refills for someone who is set to be a designated driver. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve worked in the service industry for 13 years and I’ve never seen this. The total table spend was upwards of $500 between us all. On top of that…someone walked passed our table and spilt one of the beers all over me and the server didn’t comp or replace it…unimpressed. And then went on to charge the wrong person for the beer that was spilt on me. Always had a great time here but this was ridiculous.

Super cute place, friendly staff, neat space, reasonably priced cocktails (daiquiris aren't the best, but they make a good blueberry sour) and live music! Definitely somewhere to check out. I can't wait to come back!

I lost a ring of sentimental value to me here last night and the staff were fantastic helping me out. Huge thank you to Shanelle and Troy for finding it and bringing it back to me! Sweet venue, great drinks, and fun times. I highly recommend the Railway!

While the blues bands were not KD they were very entertaining, some were very good, some just ok but the food was great. Bar food, served hot and fresh, service was excellent and about twenty different beer on tap! Our first time out after covid, and we definitely enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the BEER!

Excellent! A hidden gem of a place. Outstanding food, great selection of craft beers, and great, friendly staff and patrons.

A great place to grab a beer or two after class! One of the few places in Vancouver where you can watch a live band. We'll all be back again on Thursday.

Great place for live music. Paid $15 cover to see 3 bands and couldn't complain as the music was diverse and the beer was cheap. They have a few pinball machines in the back and a few tables for sitting and catching up with friends.

What a cute and quaint little venueI haven't been able to go to Railway very much, but it's another Donelly Group location and it's awesome. The venue is excellent, the service is great and the drinks are awesome too! They split up the stage away from some tables in the back as well so there's good spacing. No complaints so far!

LOVE coming here for live music. They pick fantastic local artists, it's not too big and echo-y, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Always worth the time to stop in for a drink.
