Cute place, nice service but i didn’t like the ice cream sadly. Im sure lots of people are interested in eccentric flavours, but im not convinced that ice cream needs to be smart. I tried 6 different flavours and none of them did it for me. Their cones were also not as good as i have imagined.

Pros: Homemade cone is the magic part. Ice creams are all tasty. Cons: The menu is so confusing. You never know about the ingredients leads to unfavorable choices. I wish there was a clear menu with names and ingredients.

Rain or Shine Ice Cream is hands down one of the best spots for ice cream in Vancouver! The flavors are creative, rich, and made with fresh, sustainable ingredients — you can really taste the quality. We tried the matcha yuzu and the classic chocolate, both in a waffle cone, and they were absolutely delicious. The cones are crisp and fresh, and the scoops are generous.
The shop itself has a fun, quirky vibe — from the purple cow head on the wall to the big flavor board and colorful signage, it feels inviting and unique. Service was friendly and efficient, even with a steady flow of customers.
I also love that they sell pints to go, so you can bring your favorite flavors home. Whether it’s a sunny day treat or a rainy Vancouver evening, Rain or Shine truly lives up to its name

Top notch ice cream, unique flavors -- what's not to like? Can get crowded in mid- summer, with lines going out the door. We don't get to Vancouver often, but when we do this is on our priority list.

When you combine delicious ice cream with great service, you have a winner. Even at 8:00 pm at night the staff are friendly and smiling after a day of long line ups, especially on the hot days. I love that they have keeper flavours and also create other unique flavours. I recently had the Roasted Strawberry with the vegan Earl Grey Raspberry, absolutely delicious! I also highly recommend the Malted Milk Honey Comb, yum.
It's dangerous knowing this place is so close to me, a good test of my will power :)

I love the ice cream at the Cambie and 18th location, but the west 4th location's quality just doesn't stack up. The texture of the ice cream is totally off and often has ice crystals inside what should be delicious creamy ice cream - you just never know what you'll get. Flavours are still good and I love the mix of traditional favourites and inventive seasonal options.

INSANE icecream!! the shop is so cute and they have some outdoor seating too. i finally went today since the line wasn’t down the street for once and i can see why it’s so popular. their taco tuesdays are great value, you can get 2 flavours plus a taco waffle, whipped cream and a topping for just like $1 more than usual ice cream prices.
