You must try
Unique flavors located at UBC! Everyone enjoyed their classic flavors of chocolate and coffee toffee. I had a seasonal flavor which was interesting. Small store front, no bathrooms, more of a get in and get out situation. Waffle cones were made in the store but got soft quickly.
Quite delicious, went there a few times. Last time I had the london fog and mint chocolate chip ice cream, it was really good.
Blueberry balsamic 😋
Rain or Shine is one of my favorite ice cream shops. They always have seasonal flavors. Today I tried the Burnt Honey with Cornbread & Blueberry and Cracked Mint. Tip: if you only want one scoop, you can still choose 2 flavors. 😊
Very tasty ice cream and they make everything in store would definitely recommend
I think Josie's Fave is my favorite too!😋
Visited the Rain or Shine Ice Cream shop on two ocassions this Summer ('25). The shop is a little hidden, and can be a bit busy around some times of the day. The people are friendly and happy to help, and the ice cream and toppings are lovely! Got an ice cream with vanilla and chocolate twice, because I like it so much. The first time with sprinkles, and the second time with waffle pieces. Would recommend visiting the shop and try one or two of the flavours they have in stock for ice creams. Be warned there are no chairs in the shop (not a problem for us, as we continued on a walk through UBC after getting our ice cream).
Roasted strawberry is to die for! Waffle cone does not disappoint as always. Staff can be a little friendlier though. This is an ice cream store- can I at least get a smile? But flavour-wise, Rain or Shine is the best in the city.
Choc honeycomb was nice-not too sweet
The raspberry lemonade was too frozen.
Ice cream melted almost immediately even while eating it in the shade

This ice cream was mush.
Hidden on the side of JJ Bean on University Blvd, you’ll find will find a walkway to one of the best ice cream joints in Vancouver. What normally is hustle and bustle during the school year, you’ll find patrons basking in the sun on a hot summer’s day enjoying a cone or sundae.
There is no seating inside, so be prepared.
I normally go for the London fog or honeycomb, but decided on the seasonal treat, roasted strawberries. It was creamy and fresh. Very good strawberry flavour in each bite (yes I’m weird like that)
Flavour of the month! Roasted strawberries 🍓- so yummy
Yummy ice cream, I really like the London fog.
