We used to like raisu a lot. But recently we find the food quality is not as good as before. The sashimi is ok… but not extraordinary. What’s worst is the service … we waited for a very very long time for our food. We asked to refill water for our tea pot… and the waitress forgot about it and we had to remind her after 15 min. We asked for soup refill and we had to ask twice as she forgot as well. We asked for more wasabi and the wasabi they provided was sooooooo tiny....
The best Japanese restaurant in British Columbia. Being here felt like I was back in Japan.
FOOD: one of a kind flavour and taste. AWESOME THE BEST.
SERVICE: very good attentive serving staff. Also all you can refill pop.
ATMOSPHERE: decor felt like I was in a restaurant in FUKUOKA JAPAN.
PRICE: a bit expensive but well worth the price.
OVERALL: A+++

I shocked myself when I saw I hadn’t written a review for Raisu yet! I’ve gotten made fun of for how much I love this place, but those people are miserable haters. Raisu is the BEST, family friendly and really fun for celebrations (if you’re okay with the serving staff making noise - you get an instax photo which is super cute and often a complimentary dessert).
