This is not my first time to Raisu. It is one of my favorite restaurants in town, well known for its great food and vibes.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so we thought it was a good time to try out their uni menu. There were steamed egg custard, sashimi, sushi and lobster udon. We added the kobe beef sushi on top. They all went so well with the sake flight. Everything tasted so good.

Went for a dinner to this place, the atmosphere is very authentic and the interior design is not your generic restaurant. However, the food is really really greasy and oily; it is NOT in any way bad or undercooked or overcooked or not tasty! We weren’t super hungry on the day we visited and ended up getting appetizers mainly. The fried corn is nothing special, would not order again. The uni cheese dish with bread was okay, but the uni wasn’t amazingly fresh either. The cubed aburi was decent, but I don’t find it to be anything amazing. Although it did feel fresh to me. I will likely have to come back to try more dishes for a better judgement of this restaurant.
