Basically everything on their menu has a vegan equivalent on a separate explicitly marked menu. The staff know what vegan is and are clear on which dish you've ordered.

There is usually a line. But the food is worth it and they have a lot of vegan options, including a vegan poached egg.

This place has really great ramen! The customization offered is nice. Excellent flavour and high quality. The food came out incredibly fast. Good prices.

Undoubtedly five stars. Came with a couple friends whom recommended it and was highly impressed. Our experience was so enjoyable from start to finish in all aspects with a lively vibe, delicious food and staff's bubbly energy which is some of the best I've been around. If you want attentive and friendly service with an inviting atmosphere Ramen Danbo in Kitsilano is The Place.

Been here for several times, noodles are amazing, offers cheap kaedama(noodles for refill) awesome soup and cheap prices. But one of the waitresses was not being very helpful, when I order, everything I said is answered with “uh-huh”, which isn’t very respectful, and is hard for me to know if she actually get what I said.

It was the WORST experience ever. A server named Mei or Karin was very rude(She was wearing a name tag that said “Karin,” but when I asked another server, they said her name was Mei.)-> which is I don't get it, either. Why does she have someone's name tag? Not hers?

I saw other reviews about her, and it seems like she needs to learn good customer service.

She even took off her name tag suddenly, so maybe she knew her service was bad.🤣🤣🤣 Even though the restaurant was busy, her service was terrible. She was laughing and joking with the staff but never smiled at the customers.

Ramen is so delicious and I love the flexibility in custom the noodles and soup. Seating is limited and reno old.

Joined the waitlist when there were 5 parties in front, waited 40 minutes to get the text message stating table is almost ready while had to wait another 40 minutes for the table to be actually ready. Staff were very attentive and checked on us couple of times. Food was OK, soup was on the salty side with no low-sodium option.
