Ramen options are either pork or vegan (tofu). Pork was all fat and inedible. Tofu was ok but overpriced at $1.50 per half slice and is served cold. Noodles were very flour-y/pasty and broth was flavorless. Luckily there is garlic on the table which made it a bit better. No veggies...just green onion slices. Will never go here again. Do have to point out that service was good and they try to speed everything up by giving people in line paper menus to pre-order with.

Their standard ramen is very basic but then you can choose all the different options to add on toppings, change the broth and noodles. Very tasty. Place is small but wait times are not long as most people finish and go.

Food is good but music is too LOUD!
Really good ramen spot for Vancouver, probably one of the best. After visiting Japan, this is one of the spots in Vancouver, that comes close to replicating my ramen experience in Japan. Only grievance I have with this restaurant is that they're always busy, always.

Always great service and great food. Very consistent. I always leave here feeling full and happy. I recommend ordering the pork donburi bowl with ur ramen, and dipping the rice in the leftover soup.

I’ve been a regular customer at Ramen Danbo since 2022, and I keep going back because their vegan ramen options are some of the best I’ve had. The flavors are rich, comforting, and keep me coming back, which says a lot given how many ramen spots are around.
That said, my experiences with service have been hit or miss. There have been mix-ups with orders — for example, I once ordered the Negi-Goma ramen but was served Miso instead. When I pointed it out, I was initially told it was my mistake before it was acknowledged and corrected. While I did eventually get the right dish, a simple apology would have gone a long way, especially since many restaurants would waive the charge in such cases.
For takeout, portioning of accompaniments is often lacking — like the gyoza dipping sauce, which is barely enough for one or two pieces, not the whole order. On another occasion, I requested a little extra sesame for my baby and was told it would be an additional charge. I don’t mind paying extra, but the rigidity in small requests does stand out.
Most recently, my takeout Negi-Goma ramen was missing the main sesame ingredient altogether, which was really disappointing since I couldn’t go back just for that.
Overall, while the food (especially the vegan ramen) keeps me coming back, the service and consistency feel closer to a fast-food experience than a sit-down restaurant. I really hope Ramen Danbo can improve on the customer service side and show more care for loyal customers.

Recommended dishes: Vegan Miso Ramen
The broth quality is good, portion is small. Everything thing is an add on and you have to literally pay for everything and become pricey. Price starts around $12-$14, after adding will be like $20.

I never got a chance to eat here ever since the first time I ate at a chain restaurant in Fukuoka when I was 6. I got to fulfill my wish of revisiting what it would have tasted like, and the quality feels really similar. Shio and classic broth were brilliant. Miso not too bad either, but I prefer the other two. The best part is that you customize everything yourself.
This made me very happy that the quality is still good and worth visiting here.
Also, expect lines at busy times like noon or 6-7 pm. (Please don’t say a 67 joke here as soon as you read this)

I regularly visit Dambo and absolutely love the food, flavors, and variety! As a vegan, I always go for the vegan options and usually try them at different locations like Robson, and they’re always delicious. This was my first time visiting this particular location, and while I was really excited, unfortunately the ramen I ordered turned out quite salty and the taste was noticeably different from what I usually enjoy at other branches. 😞😞 Sorry
Wow. This was a horrible experience. Love the restaurant.., other locations I mean. Words can’t describe how bad the service was.

The service staff’s attitude was not very good. A little more patience would be better.

I ordered the vegan ramen with egg and seaweed, it was very good. I would also recommend the pork Gyoza and iced green tea.

This is the best Danbo to go. Spacious, you dont need to be lining up as the other ones.
