They have really cut back on the portion sizes… I ordered a 2 for 1 deal, and I swear they took one order and made it into two small orders.

I've been going to Rice & Noodle since they first opened. They were a cheap option to get good hot made-to-order food. Portion sizes are a little bit smaller than you might get elsewhere, maybe 80%, but the price more than made up for it.I wouldn't call their food authentic to any particular Asian cuisine, but even so it's good for what it is. For instance, some of the vegetables they use just don't exist in Asia.My main issue, and the reason I don't go there very often any more, is the post-COVID price bump. This equates to at least a 50% increase, putting their pricing on par with just about everywhere else. All their mains used to be $9.99, except for the soups which were $10.99. Now, all their dishes are $12.49-$13.99, and then they charge you additionally for the protein $1.50-$3.00 (even if you don't want to add a protein). What I used to order cost $20, and now it costs $30. Disappointing, but that's the way it goes these days.

Got take out via Uber Eats. Received the order, and I could smell a burnt smell pulling out the containers from the bag. As I was pretty hungry, I ignored this and continued to pull it out. Pad thai was good, but my yellow curry unfortunately had burnt black bits in it, and on taste the entire dish was tainted by a very strong burnt smell and taste. Which now after 1 hour having managed to eat 2/3's of it (just got off a 10 hr flight), I still have the taste in my mouth. And I can still smell it everywhere. I am a bit confused about how you could make this so badly. They had to have smelt this burning when they cooked it, its bad it enough to transfer into my house and taint my tongue till even after a strong cup of tea. I am shocked they'd even package it, it doesn't make any sense. I didn't want to leave a review this bad, but it looks like I am not the only one whose been effected recently.

One of the few restuarants that don't skimp on the spice. #10 spice level is finally spicy enough! Excellent Thai coconut soup and the Panang red curry was so very good.

Ordered delivery, all the containers were filled 1/4 full. Over priced for such small quantity of food. Also missed an item on our order.

I ordered a dish of noodles and gyoza. The only table available was covered in dirty dishes but I sat there anyway so because I was so tired. It took really long and when she finally brought my dish she said, "and gyoza right?" :(I was almost finished with the noodles when she brought them out. I asked her to please remove the dirty dishes. '"Later". She replied. I was shocked and wished I hadn't tip her when I paid first.

Absolutely horrible! We ordered one meal spice level 3 and one level 4. The one which was supposed to be level 3 came too hot to eat - my wife almost choked on the first bit, as her throat constricted! We eat authentic Korean and Chinese food often, as we live in southern California and travel all over for our environmental consulting business. After trying to say we did not understand Asian spices, they claimed to re-do the plate. It came back with no meat and still spicy. Not worth $3.64, definitely not the $36.45 they charged. AVOID!

The restaurant offers delicious food with generous portions, but they don't accommodate splitting dishes for two.I guess it's too hard to split in two the noodles ?

Unless you are a vegetarian, I don't highly recommend it, they charge you separately for the protein but they serve you very little, so be careful before ordering. In the photo of the menu a super dish appears and it says that it has chicken, egg tofu etc etc etc but when you get to the checkout they give you a choice and they will charge you separately not c if it is the only restaurant that manages that system, the service is very Bad, we ordered a dish without chili and it seems that they got upset or understood NO SPICY as double spicy because it was literally impossible to eat. The place is nice and comfortable but in the area of ordering and having drinks with 2 people it becomes chaos.
