I waited for over 15mins for our food. When we reached our hotel we were disappointed. Our meal was incorrect, the meat needs proper seasioning, the soup had no flavour. all said and done, $84 worth of food we couldn't eat. We had to throw it away. The roti had a sweet taste, the beef patty was dried. All around, the food is not ready, oh and the rice could be cooked better. I would not recommend this place.

Chicken was well cooked but lacked any char which, to me, is a necessary feature of a good jerk chicken. Also, the jerk flavour was little more than a hint. Rice was completely unseasoned, “salad” was a literal handful of spring mix with a hint of what could have been dressing but had no flavour at all. I don’t see why they aren’t serving a Caribbean slaw, the salad isn’t conducive to the rest of the meal at all. I ordered take out and the service on the other hand was great.

I ordered an extra side of oxtails and these people gave me three oxtails and rice and peas when I only ordered straight oxtails as a side in addition to my combo. Which means they don't honour what you are paying for. Pretty much a rip off, which is shameful because you represent Jamaica and respectable Jamaican restaurants are typically not like that.

I used to love and go a lot on Riddim and Spice but recently it’s been a missed because they have been very stingy with their portions, they barely put any gravy on the oxtail making it very dry to eat! and the entire plate was just full of oil. And when u ask them to put more gravy they will tell you they charge for extra!?? the food and service went downhill. I always call the store every time whenever i ordered but they always never follow instructions

I’m gonna add this to the worst Jamaican food I’ve tasted yet. The rice and peas is mushy 😂 like I’m eating grits … the jerk chicken which we ordered DOES NOT LOOK OR TASTE like jerk chicken, it tasted more like a rotisserie chicken with a jerk sauce base 😂 all the salad nah taste good, you guys do better seriously, this is not authentic at all.. but I’m sure you don’t care about that cause your in Vancouver and what do they know about carribean food culture? Your business would go down hill if you were out in the GTA I’m sorry! 😞

First time to eat here, am walking pass the restaurant when I saw this guy the patio with a big plate of mouth-watering meat, rice and salad. I went in to ask the server what the guy was eating and she said Jerk Chicken . I ordered the same and wow! The chicken meat was so tender that the bones would separate so easily. The sauce was undeniably Jamaican flavour, so delicious… and the serving was big! Would definitely come back to try the other Caribbean food it offers.
My friend got me curry goat but the curry goat wasn’t seasoned with enough curry, they also serve it with rice n peas instead of white rice

Just received my food. Jamaican visiting Vancouver and needed authentic food from "yard". With all the 5 stars setting, this ought to be "GOOD". However, the most DISGUSTING Jerk Chicken and Oxtail ever tasted. Who uses Basmati Rice and sweet sauce instead of Jerk Seasoning on Jerk Chicken. My son ditched the Oxtail because of the rice and the beef is cooked right but the gravy..., I am so disappointed, truly disappointed. Come on Riddim & Spice..., up the ante because I know you can do better.
My son and I stopped by for a meal before taking in The Marley Brothers concert at Deer Lake. We had the ox tail and curry goat. Both excellent. Very hard to determine which we liked best. They were both SO good. It is a small place with a lovely, simple, atmosphere. We are definitely going back for the aki and saltfish.

The food was amazing!!! As an African with an appreciation for spices, this was topnotch! It hit in the right places.. I absolutely enjoyed it the first time, and went in for a second purchase.. Good comes out hot eeverytime and service is good also...

Parking: There are abt 2spots in front I'd the restaurant.. May or may not be empty when you get there.. But there's lots of paid Street parking. Just drive around.

The meat was tender and the fat and cartilage were melt in your mouth. This whole portion (regular size, not large) with a side salad was only around $15. In this economy, that's a steal. I'll definitely be back again.
