Came for happy hour and ordered oysters and drinks after a long shift at work. Kevin the bartender and Tim the manager really made us feel welcomed and had such a good time with them. Definitely coming back !

We came here for the buy up promotion, I had heard good things about Riley’s and had been looking forward to trying. The atmosphere was great and we were seated promptly, the whole process of using the voucher was very smooth.Portions for the appetizers were good and they were delicious. Carpaccio and the bread with lobster oil were very good. Unfortunately the entrees and sides were smaller than had initially been promoted. Still enough food for two people, but probably not worth its initial promoted price of $230 value.Lobster was a bit mushy. Steak seems to be hit or miss… we had a perfectly cooked medium rare steak, but another friend ordered the same and ended up with a well done steak.Service was polite but unfortunately disorganized. Felt a bit like they were too busy to be too attentive to each table. Our leftover sides were packed away for us, but unfortunately they mixed it up and gave us someone else’s leftovers…dishes entirely different from the ones we had packed away. Pretty disappointed as we ended up just having to throw all of it away, and it means someone else also received our leftovers.Can’t complain for the promotional price, but didn’t quite live up to the hype, not sure I would return for their normal menu.

Okay, full disclosure - I do not like to spend money on food I can prepare at home but, I love Riley's and my wife and I especially enjoy Happy Hour in the summer and go for the Oysters and, the Oysters and the Oysters - yup, 3 sometimes 4 dozen - I know... oink, oink! Anyway, this place is great and I love the service. They remembered one of our visits I was a bit cold on the patio and on the next visit, the hostess made a point of coming to our table and asking if I was comfortable - really... that has never happened to me before, what a wonderful gesture - I was fine and she made my even even better by caring! The menu is great, the kitchen is competent with their steak - which is often not the case in most eateries I find. Their appies are my favourite and often simply order two or three and either a Martini or a chewy IPA. We return regularly and cannot wait until the patios is open and it's a bit warmer - we'll be there - look for the table piled high with oyster shell! Enjoy!

We had made reservations online for the buy up promotion on Feb. 22 and got a confirmation email for it. But after reading some of these reviews I realized I needed a coupon/voucher that was supposed to be emailed to me. Today is my birthday the day of the reservations so I called to inquire about the coupon, only to be told sorry we’re all sold out. I had kindly explained that I was never emailed anything other than our confirmation for our dinner reservations for the buy up promotion and she admitted that the website can be confusing but there was nothing she could do for us and that’s it.Very disappointed because we have never been here before and we were very excited to try it out for the first time but unfortunately because of the customer service we received over the phone. We will not go here, nor recommend it.

Our time at Rileys was the best. We chose it for our anniversary dinner and it surpassed our expectations. The food was top-notch, and Tim was amazing, he made sure everything was perfect and even surprised us with complimentary champagne. Highly recommend!!
Stands up to the hype. Excellent food exceptional service from Anna. Great music as well ! Everything was delicious only comment on food was a slight lack of seasoning otherwise perfect.

We stumbled upon Riley's while visiting from Seattle, and we're so glad we did. Our server Ali made our night very special, he was so personable and pleasant. He really went above and beyond in getting us an amazing dessert we saw that was for an event and not on the menu. One of the best desserts I've ever tasted, you HAVE TO GET IT ON THE MENU! Adam the musician also blew our minds, he took a request and crushed a song he's never played. Adam also chatted with us about music and gear for a long time, what a great dude! It was totally apparent that the management has got it going on, the employees all seemed like they wanted to be there. My wife and I will be back for sure!
