Amazing service. Our server was very knowledgeable of wine and made great recommendations. All the other staff were also amazing and Always checked if we were ok. We had a great time.
I got a sense this place is struggling financially. Draft beer not working. We were told none of the taps were functional. The floor and bathrooms appear to need repairs. Bad smell when walking in. We waited forever for our drinks and not sure why. There was lots of staff and the place was half full. The passadores service was excellent. The meat selection so-so but what do you expect for the price and a mid week dinner. I really hope they stick around.
I won't be going back. Too expensive for the service and food quality. We got like 2 small pieces of meat from a skewer. And no one came back to our table with any more. Not worth the $150 paid.
Big meals here! We come here for special occasions, and for those times that we've missed the flavors of Brazil for too long. Their Feijoada do Fininho is served on the buffet on weekends for lunch, and it might just make the best lunch time meal in all of Vancouver.
The food was awful, every meat tasted very strong and we needed to add salt to it. So bad I will never go back, also the buffet was lacking creativity, there were just cut vegetables. Not good
Hey so I have been a customer on a few occasions at Brazilian steakhouse on Denman st Vancouver. This last visit was to celebrate 3 bdays. Brazilian Steakhouse advertises that they offer 12 diff cuts and choices of meat. We only were offered six and when asked about other cuts and choices of meat we were told they aren't serving them. Which kind of affected our entire experience, especially for the new 5 ppl we had brought to experience this.
Authentic Brazilian cuisine. Food was delicious and the service was prompt and very promptand curtious. Hhighly recommend!!
I visited Rio Brazilian Restaurant in Vancouver for the first time, but I've been to many Brazilian restaurants in Miami, Edmonton, and Toronto. Usually, they're clean, welcoming, and well-run — this one was disappointing. The meat was good, but the patio was covered in leaves, tables weren't clean, and my cocktail glass was sticky on the outside. Even the drink menu had stains and yellow spots — just reprint them, it's not that expensive. The windows were dirty, and overall the place felt neglected. The location itself is great, but it desperately needs a proper deep cleaning and some touch-ups. Overall, the food was fine, but the lack of cleanliness and care for details really hurt the experience. With better maintenance, this spot could be excellent — right now, it just feels messy.
My family and I enjoyed a warm and welcoming space. The food was exquisite! Thank you for helping me and allowing my stroller with my baby. I loved it.
Delicious home-made tasting food and great service! Try the caipirinha, if you never had it 😋

love every single moment of it!! come here for special occasions and they never fail to make it like a first time experience!
We came from Montréal to try this restaurant and it was great, the owner was nice and helpful, staff were amazing, atmosphere and food were something else. Totally recommended for anybody who wants to have a good taste of Brazil.

Great food and staff! Atmosphere is always amazing!
I would give 10 stars))) very tasty! The whole team is smiling and very well-organised. Thank you!
I truly hope this restaurant can turn things around, because the concept has potential—but the current state of this location is in serious need of an overhaul.
From the moment we walked in, cleanliness was a major concern. The floors were dirty, the windows were covered in bird droppings, and the women’s washroom was in terrible condition: it smelled awful, the toilets were filthy, and one stall door was literally hanging off. Even the counter and sink had visible dirt and hair, which is incredibly off-putting in any food establishment.
The salad bar was especially alarming. The food looked and tasted off, and I genuinely felt like I might get sick if I ate it. It gave the impression that unused food is simply kept and served again the next day. The meat I tried had a strong, metallic taste—like blood—and I couldn’t continue eating it. I’ve attached a photo of the plate I had. Just looking at it made me lose my appetite.
We dine out often and are generally open-minded, but this was unfortunately the worst dining experience we’ve had. I hope management sees this as constructive criticism and makes hygiene and food safety a top priority.
