I visited Rio Brazilian Restaurant in Vancouver for the first time, but I've been to many Brazilian restaurants in Miami, Edmonton, and Toronto. Usually, they're clean, welcoming, and well-run — this one was disappointing. The meat was good, but the patio was covered in leaves, tables weren't clean, and my cocktail glass was sticky on the outside. We came from Montréal to try this restaurant and it was great, the owner was nice and helpful, staff were amazing, atmosphere and food were something else. Totally recommended for anybody who wants to have a good taste of Brazil.
The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone was incredibly nice. We went on Tuesday and the three guys were very friendly. But Gustavo was truly spectacular! He was so kind and had us laughing the whole time. We really enjoyed our experience.
