The only good thing about this place is the price.The guacamole tastes like vinegar and onions.I ordered a burrito bowl and had to ask 4 times for more lettuce yet still ended up with a bit more than a skiff.My friend ordered a burrito but it was a flattened rice in a burnt tortilla.The worker also answered the phone in the middle of making our food and when he returned he didn't change gloves.The food was bland and we could only taste vinegar.Walk a couple blocks east on Davis and get great Mexican food from Los Amigos.

I don't mind the lack of authenticity as long as it's flavorful. But the food was neither authentic nor made any sense. Like eating cardboard with vinegar. Owner was super nice, asked if we liked it, tries to improve but still, tortillas in tacos were cold and dry, meat tacos had barely any meat among a humonguos mix of incompatible toppings, tortilla soup was the same super awkward mix of ingredients submerged in water, kinda mixed with..... were those pickles?! Was super disappointed, left longing for a proper meal.

The staff is kind but do not know how to prepare mexican food at all. Tortillas in tacos are hard, dry and cold. Carne asada is burned out and barely visible in a taco full of beans, lettuce, and pico de gallo.Chicken tortilla soup is the worst we have ever try in my entire life, is not even that thing tastes like warm ceviche.I do not want to bash this place but please!!! ask for advice to mexicans.

This was a really nice and charming spot. The burrito was really good and the customer service was even better. I would totally come here again for a quick bite and the price is pretty cheap too. Also great spot for people watching along the street!

I ordered a steak burrito and there was literally THE smallest amount of steak like other reviews have mentioned. I got chips and guacamole and the “guacamole” was probably 10% avocado and mostly just salsa. I’m not sure why he wouldn’t listen to all the reviews calling the portions small.I called him about the burrito because at first I thought it was vegetarian.. the guy on the phone wasn’t even Mexican and he gave pretty bad customer service and just insisted that I was wrong and there’s only very small pieces of meat because they shrink when cooked. I would definitely not order again.
Went here today for the first time and the service was so great. He was so kind and the tacos were amazing!! Would definitely go back again

Stopped by for a quick snack late at night. My girl and I each had the tortilla soup to satisfy the cravings. The food was great and the conversation with Ahmad was even better! I look forward to trying all the other items in the menu!
