Amazing food specially Koobideh or Loghmeh fast food with 5 minutes parking available in the area makes my life much easier as an Iranian worker in the area. Thanks!!!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented with generous portions.
The staff were welcoming and attentive, and I felt genuinely well treated throughout my visit.
I would definitely come back!

Best food on campus, taste is exquisite. Price is perfect. My diet does not exist without Sahel. Not to forget the lovely staff, always kind, generous and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for any better

The food was ok tasting but I got food poisoning yesterday. Iv been going through hell. Sahel, if you're reading this review your protocol. Make sure food is fully cooked. Not old. Salads and humus are properly chilled.

Horrible service, the food was cold and tasted dismal. Extremely rude cashier with an attitude problem and selective hearing. Got our order wrong twice, and still didn’t give us hot sauce.

Sahel at UBC has gone downhill a lot since last year. I used to eat here almost every day, but the quality has drastically dropped. The meat in the shawarma, donairs, and kebabs often has hard, inedible cartilage, and the kebabs don’t even taste like real meat anymore. They also don’t offer the stews they used to have, and the newer staff barely put enough meat in the portions. Really disappointing compared to how good it used to be.

To be honest, the food wasn’t good. They served the wrap without sauce and it was dry. And also the stuff wasn’t very friendly too.

The food quality has dropped down recently, the ingredients are dry and not fresh. The service was not friendly.

We've eaten here twice. Food was mediocre both times, but we happen to be visiting our child in the area and needed something quick. However, the second time around the cashier had a horrible attitude. She wasn't super friendly which is fine but the way she treated other customers was horrible. She was short and would roll her eyes at students asking simple questions. Not sure why she's even working there; she clearly is unhappy. Will not be returning!

Incredibly rude cashier. Had her earbuds in while we ordered. Messed up the order and had a terrible attitude when we asked why we had received a plate instead of a wrap. Rolled her eyes while telling us there was an additional surcharge. She even told the other server not to add hot sauce to our wraps when my friend asked for hot sauce in her order. The chicken is dry and hard, the wraps are cold and upstairs tables are a mess. There are large open garbage bins next to the dining area that seem unsanitary. The washrooms are also in poor condition. Will not be returning, even the nest has better food options.
