I'd recommend their rolls.

We went close to closing. Many products were sold out. It would be great if there was seating. Prices are reasonable. There are many options. We liked it.

I ordered a tiramisu and received something completely different. Weird texture, strange taste nothing like a real tiramisu. Very disappointing, especially for the price. It’s unacceptable to sell something so far from what was advertised

Convenient and good selection.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this bakery for years – until last night. My wife, mother-in-law, and I stopped by around 6:50 p.m. to pick up a few items and were craving coffee. When we asked for it, the cashier told us the coffee machine was ‘broken,’ which seemed off since it looked perfectly fine and clean. Curious, I stopped by this morning to check, and sure enough, the coffee machine was working. It seems they may have cleaned it early and just didn’t want to bother making coffee close to closing. Disappointing to see such laziness from a place I used to trust. Way to lose a loyal customer, Saint Germain Bakery. Btw they still dared to ask tip for this lol

I believe this is a Hong Kong based bakery chain, where this one’s located in Kerrisdale which offers us the convenience of having comfort snacks close by. It’s near our children’s school which is in Shaughnessy, so we often stop by to grab some pork buns, Hong Kong iced tea, milk tea, cake, slice bread, Lao po bing, or whatever else catches our eye from their selection.

While it’s not the best-tasting bakery out there, it’s practical and convenient for us. I’d rate the pastries ranging around 3-4* out of 5*. Can’t really say something there stands out but I’d say above average so it’s not bad. The pricing is pretty standard compared to other Chinese bakeries, but this one falls on the mid-higher end in terms of quality. We also have a VIP discount here that they offered long time ago, which is great. So we keep coming back.

I’ve noticed that some reviews mention unpleasant attitudes from the staff, but we’ve been here more than plenty of times, maybe at least once a week for years and have never experienced any issues. For a quick and easy stop, this place does the job.

Used to love their chocolate cream bun when they were on Cambie but I haven't seen those in years. They have remained fairly consistent over the years. Nice change from muffins and scones.

This place got all my favorites at a very convenient location. Plus they got Iced HK lemon tea and HK milk tea now, which we can't wait to try.

Parking: Depending on the time of day, parking could get busy, but not overly where you can't find one in 5 minutes. Typical Vancouver parking where you have to pay from 9am-10pm.

Love the loyalty points with their new program! I have an old discount card and was hoping to apply for their new one. Look at the signage! It simply reads spending $30. The cashier says cause I bought a discounted item I wasn't entitled. Apparently, she says she has the final say. Told her to get her sign translated better. Never again at this location! Money is money! Fix the front counter service.
