I’m so lucky to live very close, like I literally live above this place. It’s the best. Getting to know the family and becoming friends with them is a cherry on top of this incredible food. I order from here often, too often one might say? Probably. But I just can’t help myself. The food is always on point, and I’m pretty picky having grown up in a diner myself. Not only is the sushi amazing, the dinner special is a steal of a deal. Everytime I have guest from out of town I order here and everyone is always blown away. 10/10 all around, best sushi on the drive for sure. Always fresh, always friendly, saki maki forever!

This place is a very aesthetic and very peaceful inside, i recommend the combos! i also like the lady who works here shes very kind

The place is nice, but the service was incredibly slow and uneven. Everything came out at random times quite far apart, and I hadn't even gotten my food (one of the combo specials) until everyone else was done eating. When I asked they said it was busy, but there were only two other tables and no visible to go orders. Both tables got their food before us even though we had sat down before.

The sushi was fine, but some cuts were kind of ragged and unappealing. Probably wouldn't choose to go agai .

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. Their lunch special is unbeatable at $11.50 for two items (rolls, udon, teriyaki rice dishes, etc.) & miso soup! Those are 2010 prices! Everything was so delicious and service was very friendly and prompt. The family that run this joint are the sweetest bunch ever and we are so stoked to have them in the neighbourhood. Looking forward to our next visit. A must try!!!!

This place is okay... i felt like the service was a little slow and the freshness of the fish wasnt as good as some other sushi places on the Drive/in Vancouver area. I felt the specialty roll had wayyyy too much mayo/sauce -- you can see in the photo... its a lot a lot... made the roll hard to finish for me (not the biggest fan of a lot of mayo.)
