I’m so lucky to live very close, like I literally live above this place. It’s the best. Getting to know the family and becoming friends with them is a cherry on top of this incredible food. The place is nice, but the service was incredibly slow and uneven. Everything came out at random times quite far apart, and I hadn't even gotten my food (one of the combo specials) until everyone else was done eating. When I asked they said it was busy, but there were only two other tables and no visible to go orders. Both tables got their food before us even though we had sat down before.
The sushi was fine, but some cuts were kind of ragged and unappealing....

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. Their lunch special is unbeatable at $11.50 for two items (rolls, udon, teriyaki rice dishes, etc.) & miso soup! Those are 2010 prices! Everything was so delicious and service was very friendly and prompt. The family that run this joint are the sweetest bunch ever and we are so stoked to have them in the neighbourhood. Looking forward to our next visit. A must try!!!!
