Staff were warm and fast. Food we ordered for takeout was still hot and as good as dine in when we got home 😋

We really loved our experience here. The food was delicious and hearty and the service was very friendly. They came to check upon us often and refilled the soup for us. Despite it being busy, we were able to get a seat walking in within 15 mins.

This tasted better than the other locations. Not sure why but it seems fresher. Awesome experience

First I have to say that my friend recommended your restaurant. I was hesitant at first, only because I never felt I would eat a cutlet in a restaurant. Well to my surprise, I started to drool from the corner of my mouth instantly. The smell and presentation ravaged all my senses. My first bite of Tokujyo Ruso Katsu, filled my head with dancing sugar plum fairies. The pork was moist and perfect. Soup was very yummy as well as the sauce. I tried the ramune, it was refreshing and fun to drink with that marble in the bottle. I have to mention that we never felt rushed and they were super accommodating, which meant a lot to us! The two things that made it the best night ever was 1. The wasabi mustard. OMG I literally could have ate a soup bowl of this food made by the devil himself. Extra stars for that! 2. Yoshi. He is an incredible server and excels at it. It was my first time here and he explained everything about our food to refilling our requests quickly. Please, if you could pass on a kind word from us to let him know how important he was at making our experience so incredible. Thank you Yoshi. 25 stars.

I don't usually leave reviews but I just have to say something. I went with a friend for dinner the other day and our server Mari was incredibly friendly and it was the best service I've ever had here. I usually always have a positive experience when I get katsu at this location, but Mari was just so friendly and kind. Thank you so much Mari for making my night, I hope you have a wonderful day :)!

I like their katsu a lot! And there's so much variety on the menu. Free refills of soup, rice, and cabbage can't be beat either.

This place was delicious!! The chicken was so juicy and crunchy. The curry was rich, and I liked the unlimited soup, salad, and rice. We will definitely be back.

Great service, staffer were lovely and food was amazing
I would rate my experience 3.5/5 stars. The quality and portion sizes weren't impressive for the price - My entree was okay but I wouldn't reorder. I think other places like ZacZac provide much better value.
However service and presentation were impeccable. It might be somewhere to go on a date or another occasion where ambiance is important. The location is also next to a Skytrain station. They could definitely expand their drink menu as well.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday when they opened. Got our table immediately. The two of us split The Zenbu Katsu and had more than enough to eat. The food was prepared nicely, though I found the panko layer to be a bit too thick. Service was where they really shined.

We came here shortly after opening on a Monday during the holiday and there was no wait. An hour later the restaurant was full. The service was amazing. They are attentive and never let our water glass go below half. They even helped us take our picture. The washrooms are clean. The food was so good. If you love cheese but are lactose sensitive/intolerant. Don't order the cheese katsu no matter how tempting it is. It’s purely cheese and too much. Instead, order a pork katsu and order the side cheese katsu. It’s a great experience to crush the sesame seeds. They show you what each item on the set is for. The salad dressing is really good and you don’t always get that when ordering katsu in other restaurants. It is pricey but I haven’t tasted katsu that good since I went to Japan. We left feeling full and happy

Food: got the chicken Katsu with curry. The Katsu was sooo crispy and the chicken was so tender and juicy. The curry added really good flavor. It was so delicious.
Service: let me start off that miso soup, rice and cabbage are unlimited!!! The servers are nice but then kept forgetting about our table and it was hard to get their attention.
Atmosphere: very clean style. I despise their chairs tho. It's just a bar for the back rest. My friend was very uncomfortable 😅😅
