Don't come here when it is cold outside. It is freezing in there. So uncomfortable to sit. I understand they put a play area in there to amuse the kids but when there are alot of kids (and there was when I was there) it was so noisy, kids screaming and running around.
The food. Can they not make there own chips? The chips tasted like stale cardboard, not even a pinch of salt. Had a shrimp taco, one tiny shrimp that was hard and over cooked, YES one!!!!! Other taco was cauliflower and it was under cooked and hard. The tacos are mostly the filler of cabbage and the corn tortilla were tasteless.
I also had a bowl. The beef was mushy and what was that cheese that was like a slab from the grill. Rice was hard and clumpy and nothing was actually hot.
I know authentic Mexican food and THIS IS NOT IT!!!!
I would think this was one of my worst meals I have had in Vancouver.

There was a sharp piece of rib bone in my chimichanga!

Nachos were generously topped with cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, and sour cream. The plate was huge and itself alone could feed 2 people full. Would order again!

The yellow one is the Mexixan cornbread, and it was way sweeter than I expected.

Overall, authentic Mexican cuisine! (At least in my humble opinion)

Really great food and a casual environment to enjoy it. The burrito was a very generous portion made with tasty ingredients. I also appreciated the sauce station, with a variety of homemade sauces varying in heat that you are free to help yourself to.
Would definitely recommend a stop here for some delicious Mexican food.

Great service and nice atmosphere, portions could be bigger for the price, food is a bit dry, and one churro for 6 dollars is insane

Been a frequent client for Sal y limón for years! Their recipes and taste have not changed even tho they have many locations now. Their employees always greet me with a smile and customize my personal preferences for my order. And price is good for a whole meal. We love Sal y limon

I was here 2 days ago for the first time as a friend recommended but was very disappointed with the food, clearly my friend has never tasted authentic real Mexican food. I ordered all types all different types of tacos including lengua, shrimp tacos and pastor, the shrimp tacos literally only had 1 yes just 1 shrimp and with stuffed with lots of coleslaw, not taste at all and also the WORST al pastor tacos EVER! If you are looking for tasteful authentic mexican flavourful food, don’t waste your time here, oh my oh my!!! even the salsa sucks!

Always a great experience, great fresh food. People say it takes a bit to get your order, but you know it's being made fresh, honestly worth the extra few minutes. So much better than fast food, and healthier.
