They changed the business model and hours and this hasn't been updated! Great casual sandwich place now, the mortadella breakfast sandwich is amazing!

Stopped in here to seek refuge from a mid-day sun shower and so happy we did.

Tucked away in a less than inspiring alley, you enter to feel the warmth of a cozy little tasting room. Red brink line the walls and soft dim lights bathe the long spare room. The counter is accented with an array of colorful piggy banks which serve as placeholders for table reservations, very cute.

Our hostess was super friendly, and helpful in serving up two wine flight trios. The Proyecto granacha we had was the standout but we were happy to try all of them.

We lingered here for quite a while before continuing our walk through Gastown. Recommended if you want to break your day of exploring with a leisurely glass of wine.

super fun wines to try, the explanation given of the wine was too long-winded though, I would have preferred less explanation so I could remember the important parts

The best & most unique dining experience I’ve had in Vancouver in a very long time. Delicious food, excellent service and such a great atmosphere. My partner and I both went for the cheese & charcuterie and were struggling to speak to each other as every bite was so amazing! Every food item has a story behind it and our server was so knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend coming here to anyone visiting from out of town or anyone living in Vancouver for a cosy date night. Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I went to Salt for my birthday. The staff was both happy and knowledgeable of both the foods and the wine! Great time!!!!! Just wished the ambience was a little bit different - but I'm not complaining; there's nothing wrong with it - just a personal preference. Thanks for the great birthday time Salt!

We had the Sunday fondue. Very good. I'd just eliminate the sliced tomatoes and replace with cherry tomatoes. Maybe add grapes to the assortment. Everything else was great. Reasonably priced. Found the ambiance of the new location lacking from that of the old location . Maybe it was just a quiet Sunday night.

Outstanding value...you can experience a big range of different flavours here for a very reasonable price. Wine fans are also in for a treat. A great hangout vibe...classy stuff without being pretentious. The corned beef is absurdly nicely done...old school NYC style and while you need to be careful who say this to, many say they like it better than Schwartz's beef in Montreal. I'd be careful saying that if you're in Montreal though!

Had the most amazing experience at Salt - highly recommend! We came here for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it such a special dinner for me. All the wines were sooo good and the charcuterie board exceeded my expectations!!

Our group of four popped in around 9:00 after a show and had such a terrific experience. The service was exceptional! Great food suggestions and knowledge about the wines. Atmosphere was really relaxed and we had no problem having a conversation. We would all highly recommend Salt!

Finally found the time to visit this neighbourhood gem. Comfortably chill space with AMAZING staff especially Jody would took care of us tonight. Affably charming and effortlessly kind, she was casually informative and patient. Kudos for the great and quirky choices! Esquimalt vermouth?! Mind blown. From the first nibble to the last bite, a spectacular tasting menu.

Absolutely amazing! Delicious wine and great food pairings. Extremely knowledgeable server. I enjoyed the old location but really hope the new one works out. Top notch and I'll be back!

still i dont get it wht the red wines were a pretty cold.I am a mid red wine lover honestly not too big fan but it is not accepted its be cooledTo be honest, i don’t completely have an idea but wines were super cooling. There were the RED wine glasses.I have heard that some red wine is good 8 to 10 a little bit cooler than usual. This was supposed to be wine bar.I did ask a server why there are cold, she said a maker recommended to be cold but I think it’s too much.I felt a disappointed I thought I would fine a nice wine bar my neighbor
