My wife and I went to Salt for my birthday. The staff was both happy and knowledgeable of both the foods and the wine! Great time!!!!! Just wished the ambience was a little bit different - but I'm not complaining; there's nothing wrong with it - just a personal preference. Thanks for the great birthday time Salt!

We had the Sunday fondue. Very good. I'd just eliminate the sliced tomatoes and replace with cherry tomatoes. Maybe add grapes to the assortment. Everything else was great. Reasonably priced. Found the ambiance of the new location lacking from that of the old location . Maybe it was just a quiet Sunday night.

Outstanding value...you can experience a big range of different flavours here for a very reasonable price. Wine fans are also in for a treat. A great hangout vibe...classy stuff without being pretentious. The corned beef is absurdly nicely done...old school NYC style and while you need to be careful who say this to, many say they like it better than Schwartz's beef in Montreal. I'd be careful saying that if you're in Montreal though!

Our group of four popped in around 9:00 after a show and had such a terrific experience. The service was exceptional! Great food suggestions and knowledge about the wines. Atmosphere was really relaxed and we had no problem having a conversation. We would all highly recommend Salt!

SALT is back! I had a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses and condiments that paired perfectly with my wine flight. SALT is reasonably priced, has attentive and knowledgeable staff who truly cater to the customers. 10/10!

Nice place to hang out with your friends. Try their wine flights. We let them chose ours and it was really good. The cream broth clams are delicious with sour dough toasted bread. And the corn beef is very good. Definitely will come back again!

The food and the service was beautiful, we were just sat at the front in the window which didn't have any ambient lighting, just a very bright spotlight over your head which killed the mood a little. Lovely tables down the other end though.

One of my favouite places in the city. My boyfriend and I loved chacuterie so this place was absolutely perfect!! You can't go wrong at this place. If you're indecisive like me you'll be happy to know they have carefully selected charcuterie boards. Seating is not the most comfortable but it's really not the biggest deal.

Definitely a fun experience. I wish they showed you the products they were serving or had photos since it is such a guessing game on whether or not you will like the meet or cheese you pick. They do however do a fantastic job at pairing the wines to your picks.
