Yes, it is small store with limit seat for eat-in, but the top place for sushi and fresh sashimi with affordable prices. Although facing road closures near Oakridge mall erea, the store is still survived, and get busy.
P/s: I heard from one of my friend, The owner was in management team at Coast Restaurant, and Rileys Restaurant belong to Glowbal Group.

Mostly for take away since quite small place, but the food is yummy and affordable prices. Fresh and big portion of sashimi. Must try their Mango California roll

Is buying sushi at a gas station a bad idea? Obviously, yes. That’s why we order sushi from restaurants. Recently, I ordered via Uber Eats from that place, and the food that arrived was similar to what I’d expect from a gas station or a grocery store: unevenly chopped rolls, bland taste, and missing items from the order. It’s a shame to call yourself a sushi restaurant in Vancouver, with lots of decent competitors around, and serve food of such poor quality.

Reasonable price, tastes good!
It will be even better if I could order on Hinbor App
Sushi itself is good. Worth the price, if you order in person. Ordering online will cost you 10-20% more. For example Maki Combo A is 2$ more expensive online. In restaurant can’t pay with card, cash only which is pretty awful in 2025 if you ask me. But food is always good.

Good Sashimi
I tried their Kamura roll and their Special combo.
It's a spot for affordable sushi, the price is fair for the quality and quantity of sushi you get. The service was a bit nice as well, although consider that they only accept either cash or e-Transfer.
Despite they're focused on takeaway service, they also have a few tables available for eating there. They offer discounts if you order two hours before and a bigger discount if you order at least the day before. They also offer free tea which you can serve yourself.

No frills sushi spot by Oakridge. Best for takeout but there’s a few seats available. Cash or e transfer only. Portion sizes are big! Taste is standard. Lots of good food with maki combo b.
Best place in vancouver to get sushi portion size is unreal I’ll definitely be back

The sushi here is huge and hits the spot. There are discounts when you order ahead (2hrs in advance & 1 day in advance). The vast majority of people who come here will order take out, cause there aren't many seats inside.
This restaurant used to be called Samurai Sushi, but I think it may be the same owner because the quality is about the same? Hope this place stays around for a long time :)

Ordered a house roll, futomaki, and salmon roll. I noticed the futomaki doesn't have the shitate. Check your food before leaving the premise. Extremely disappointed.
