Not bad. Overpriced though! Say ney!
Amazing sandwich; picked up La Bombas for my boss and myself. They looked gorgeous and were off the chain tasty. He thinks it's the best sandwich he's had in a long long time. Will definitely be back to try the whole menu, sandwich by sandwich for sure.
Just one small anomaly, the cookies and cakes are just stacked open on the counter right beside the register. There's no case or cake cover or anything ...so while I was tempted to get cake (because ya, they looked good), I changed my mind when I saw a hair sticking off a slice. :( I don't even think it was from the service staff since they seemed gloved-up, netted, and clean (very courteous, too). I think it just wafted on there from another visitor? Oh well.
Not enough to deter me from retrying future sammies. :')

Definitely one of the more exciting and pleasant sandwiches I’ve had! I had a nice hoagie of “Doofer” and iced coffee. Thanks for the recommendation!

More people need to know about this place. Genuinely, some of the best sandwiches in the city. They are your classic deli sandwiches but elevated to a whole new level. It's worth checking their Instagram as the regularly have new specials which are always worth a try!

We love it here! Sooo underrated. You know those old school commercials for fast food where they show a fancy French head chef in full chef gear lovingly make the most exquisite burger? That’s what we feel when we have a SH sandwich. Get a slice of the cake, too.

One of my go to places when I'm looking for sandwich fix. They have stand out standards (mine are the meatball hoagie and thank you pizza) but also have really tasty rotating specials that are fresh and seasonal. A guilty pleasure is getting one of their cookies for a sweet treat to finish it off.

Say Hey’s sandwiches are unreal. Hands down one of the best sando shop in the city. Deliciously stacked meats, sauces, veggies, and pickles hits the spot every time! Would love to see the team set up shops in other neighborhoods 😋
I'm writing this review in response to another 1 star review. “KH” is clearly just a disgruntled customer who didn't even give the owner the opportunity to rectify the situation. Instead they decided to blast them online. I have been a customer here since they opened and met the owner many times. She Is lovely and a completely reasonable person. I have yet to find a better sandwich in the city. And the price is great for what you get. People have no problem spending $20 on a cocktail but complain about a sandwich that could feed two people??? The only negative about this place is you will need a nap after because you are so full!
I recently had a veggie sandwich here and was my taste buds would give them a 10/10. It was absolutely delicious and the bread was amazing and so crispy. I definitely cannot wait to try the other options! Most places the ratio of sandwich contents to bread can be a little whack, but it was the perfect ratio amount and I’ll be back for sure!

Say Hey is legit one of the best sandwich spots in Vancouver. Huge, super tasty sandwiches with awesome bread and fresh ingredients. The meatball hoagie is a must, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Cool little spot with a chill vibe. A great place to grab lunch if you’re in Chinatown.

Visited multiple times and always blown away. Had the meatball sub and was relieved friends and family didn’t witness me eat it. Great side dishes as well. Even if you don’t need a slice of cake, you should get a slice of cake when you visit.

My fave sandwich shop of all time! When I was preggo this is what I treated myself to on my due date. I dream about the Hot Vickie (which is seasonal so keep your eyes peeled come fall). Also don’t sleep on the house made drinks.

Gnarliest sandwich shop in Vancouver. **gnarly is a good thing
First steps inside the space and you’re hit with vibes so positive you’d think jack Johnson was making your sandwiches. It’s not Jack Johnson, but maybe the best dressed chef in Vancouver?
The “Granny” is probably the best sandwich ever made. I know a guy named Jeba who ordered the “La bomba” almost every day for 2 years.

You absolutely can't go wrong here. This is frankly a sandwich often imitated and rarely perfected outside of the Northeast US. The roll is the hardest part to get right and it's SO right. The care and ingredients from there can't be overstated. You'll notice I'm not referencing a specific menu item, it's because they are all hitters and I've eaten them all (veggie included). Just order what you are in the mood for.
The owner Lina and all the staff are sweetheart too!
Don't sleep on the cookies.
