Was my first time coming here. I was super hungry and holy man that was a good sandwich. On a whim I ordered the doofer hoagie. It was deliciously spicy and I am no longer hungry. Will be back for sure.

I live in Hell’s Kitchen in NYC. I’ve had a lot of good sandwiches in my day. But the Doofer at Say Hey Cafe is the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time, possibly ever. When I came this weekend to visit Vancouver for the first time, I was hoping to avoid any avalanches. But that is exactly what happened today… to my delight. Bulldozed by an avalanche of flavors after the first bite, my taste buds have never been more satisfied. Please bring this restaurant to NYC. It deserves recognition in the highest form.

Trust your Google guide, I live for a good sandwich and constantly hunt for quality and am blown away by the uniqueness of their offerings.Soft hoagie buns. Amazingly cooked meat and veggies options. I found Say Hey because of a 4/20 sandwich collab they did with Studio A Ok a couple years ago and have been a loyal fan ever since. A sandwich with Hawkins cheezies AND nacho cheese on it is just genius. I hope one day they make it again!! Some of the best sandwiches in the city. The meatball hoagie is one of my favs. The oochie mama is also one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life!! So good it got me eating eggs again after two years lol . Finally got to try the hot Vickie this year and it was so very delicious. Y’all can do no wrong <3 Thanks for all the work you do.

Saw a video online about Say Hey so I went asap to the store as I love a good hearty sandwich. The guy who served me at the front and helped suggest a sandwich was super friendly! He told me he had a big order of sandwiches before mine so it may be a bit of a wait, but then he made mine super quick and got it out to me before completing the big order. Thank you for that! I got the “Thanks Vickie’s” sandwich which includes turkey, stuffing, cranberry, lettuce, mayo and crispy onions. It was delicious ! I got it as a takeaway and ate it at home about 30 mins later and it was not soggy at all. I love the sesame roll it comes on and it’s worth every dollar it costs. Also got the triple chocolate brown butter cookie and that was amazing ! I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu next time I’m in Chinatown ! Definitely check this place out !
