Charming neighborhood restaurant. The food was delish but Molly made the entire experience a joy. Give that girl a raise! Great service can really change how you experience a restaurant and she did that for us tonight. Thank you.

Wonderful cozy atmosphere and decor. Extremely warm and friendly place for dinner! Food was incredible — inventive and unique options. The risotto was a lovely Mac and cheese bbq fusion offering. Cornmeal catfish was awesome. Squash and burrata dish was fantastic. We had the 7 course tasting menu with drinks (cider and some cocktails) so our bill was likely higher than typical. Highly recommended place for birthday or other intimate occasions.

Cute place, excellent and very thorough service. We just ordered a bunch and shared, as they recommend. Our standouts were the Rolls/focaccia, Squash & burrata, and potato agnolotti w/pancetta. The Catfish and pasta with Bolo sauce weren't quite as good, and the Hushpuppies were a miss for us. Finished with the 'Rocky Road' tiramisu which was surprisingly awesome and not overly sweet!

The service was excellent. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was good. We sampled the whole menu! I say sampled because the four of us could not even come close to finishing the “Jesus take the wheel” menu, which is a good value at $70 a person, but we had to take a lot of the food home. It was a festive and memorable experience though. Next time I would just order a la carte. The gnocchi agnolotti was probably my favorite dish. I also really enjoyed the fresh bread. While the menu was rich and packed with flavor, I think it could benefit from some other salad options to lighten things up. The squash and burrata salad was delicious, but I think it’s the only salad on the menu. All in all, it was a good food experience.

For its size Say Mercy can easily host 50+ guests. With a cozy atmosphere, rich decor of smooth colour blends and royal patterns. The food has a refreshing take on authentic Italian cuisine, the menu avoids an overwhelming amount of options, but offers a taste for everyone.Love the creativity and the staff are genuine, have a wealth of experience with the smiles.Cheers,Hugo

Went with some friends and ordered "Jesus take the wheel" for the 3 of us.All dishes were delicious with stand outs being the octopus salad and the Lamb for me personally. There was a nice balance of both Italian and southern flavors throughout the entire meal. I am a huge tiramisu fan and their slight twist on the classic was very refreshing.Service was solid and food was prepared at a very nice pace. You may not enjoy this style of food if you are a bit shy to bolder flavors and afraid to travel slightly outside the norm of flavor combinations.

I came back to Vancouver and suddenly heard everyone talking about this spot! It is my friend's favorite spot and I am glad we tried it. Slightly expensive but the food was filling. I would say that lamb was our least liked item but everything else is a must try!

Excellent food. We did the set menu. Good portion, nothing disappoints. We all left stuffed full. They did a great job explaining every dish. My one only complaints is that I wish there is more lightings so I can see the food more clearly. The restaurant is small, and is a bit harder to hear everyone because of the noise around.

The food was great, however they couldn’t sit our group together despite the seats next to us being empty the entire time. Not what I would usually expect of a bib gourmand.Dietary restrictions: If you have a group of 6 or more they make you do the tasting menu which is just asking for arguments and upset because of multiple dietary restrictions
