I am grateful that they have a variety of food options, not just sandwiches and salads. For a hospital cafeteria, I believe it is very decent and fairly priced.
They have a lots of breakfast options.
The chef's corner tries to be innovative but everything tastes more or less the same. I wish the ready-made items such as salads and sandwiches had the preparation date specified, not just the best before date. Muffins and other pastries only taste good when recently baked. They have no dates so it's a hit-or-miss. The packed ones are not usually fresh. The pizzas and calzone dough is on the thicker side. I enjoyed the patio BBQ initiative as it gives a different spin on some of their staples.
Staff is usually friendly, except for the occasional bored/annoyed person that scolds customers.

The best food option at BC Children’s Hospital or BC Women’s Hospital. Value for money is very good, but food quality is just ok. I would give it an overall rating of 3.5
